Emahlathini Guest Farm is situated 18km out of Piet Retief towards the Swazi border (100 meters from border) ideally located if on your way to Swaziland or Mosambiek or Natal.

The lodge offers tranquility and a rejuvenating environment for all our guests from all walks of life. You are surrounded by trees and mountains.

Emahlathini is ideal for a weekend or just stopover. On the premises is a beautiful dam with deck, looking out on Swaziland and surroundings.

Guest accommodation consists of 2 units namely Elephant and Buffalo Unit. Both are fully self-catering with small kitchen area and bathroom with shower. Both have braai facilities.

Elephant Unit is on the ground floor with 2 Queen-size beds and a sleeper coach. Buffalo Unit is on the second storey with one double bed, 2 single beds and a sleeper coach.

This open plan family unit has a queen-sized bed , 3 x single beds, a double bed sleeper couch. bathroom has a shower only. This unit is upstairs bove elephant unit with balcony and separate braai area fully equipped kitchen

This is a bed in a 22 sleeper dorm. There are 5 rooms that sleep 6-8. Completely separate from the main lodge. Usage of the lodge is at an extra charge. There are 2 shared bathrooms. Communal kitchen and Braai area.

If cancelled 15 days or less before arrival, forfeit deposit.

Directions:

When entering Piet Retief from Ermelo's side you have Sasol on your left.

Take slipway to your left after passing Sasol garage - you are now in Theo Mocke Street.

Continue few hundred meters till large sign on left indicating Emahlathini
via Klein Vrystaat, there you turn right.

Continue on this road for 18 km till you see the guest farm on your right.
