At the foothills of the ancient Pilanesberg mountains lies the "Elephant Wallow". Join the highly sociable Sharu, Sapi, Chikwenya, Michael and Mana here for one of the most sensational African experiences!
Departure Schedule:
Sunrise safari: 06h00 in summer, 08h00 in winter.
Mid-morning safari: 08h00 in summer, 10h00 in winter.
Sunset safari: 15h30 all year round.

How to get there:
Guests will be picked up from the Game Trackers Outdoor Adventures desk located at the Welcome Centre at Sun City, which is situated a mere 2 hours from Johannesburg with easy routes from both Pretoria and Johannesburg.
The guests are then transferred through the Letsatsing Game Park to the "Elephant Wallow" where they are introduced to the elephants and their handlers.
After the elephant experience, which lasts about 1 hour, guests return to the "Elephant Wallow" where light snacks are served while spending more time with the elephants. Everyone is then taken back to the Sun City Welcome Centre. The entire experience takes about 3 hours.
