Kwa Madwala Private Game Reserve
is a 2000 ha private conservancy situated in South Africa, located on the southern sides of the Kruger National Park in close proximity to Swaziland and Mozambique.
Taken from the local Swazi language, Kwa Madwala means "place of the rock" which is an apt description for the towering granite outcrops which are dotted throughout this part of the South African Lowveld.
The reserve furthermore consists of Manyatta Rock Camp, offering wilderness and big game experiences. An extensive variety of activities can be combined in and round the reserve to ensure an unforgettable holiday in South Africa. Kwa Madwala is the only safari destination in Africa which offers Elephant Back, Horse Back and Microlight Safaris on site in the reserve. Wilderness and Game Drives and Walking Safaris are hosted by local highly experienced rangers and guides.
Our exclusive rock camp, Manyatta, has 27 beautifully decorated and fully furnished on suite safari units which have been strategically and aesthetically placed around the rock outcrop so as to blend in with the natural rock environment in which they are set. Each unit being fully air-conditioned with private deck, open air showers overlooking waterholes and a vast expansion of nature at its best.
A rock pool and Boma complete the picture for an unforgettable getaway and big game experience. The camp has a sophisticated kitchen, an elevated created dining deck, and lounge/ bar area.
You can gaze out over African vistas from your own private deck and watch majestic African wildlife pass by undisturbed, or take a closer look at the smaller creatures that carve their own niches in our monolithic boulders. Accommodation at Kwa Madwala Private Game Reserve - Manyatta Rock Camp:

Expect to see the Big 4 (no buffalo), we also take great pleasure in showing you the unusual, the small and the rare. Whether out in an open safari vehicle or on a guided bush walk our dedicated team of Shangaan trackers and rangers will delight in showing you their piece of African wilderness.
Come and experience the magic of riding one of our elephants. All our experiences include an interaction where you get to learn about their behavior in the wild and captivity.
Throughout the safari, the elephants do what they do best - feeding continually as they walk! Continuing through the reserve, there is ample opportunity to spot other game, including giraffes, zebras and wildebeest. A special highlight is to view the elephants playing as they enjoy their daily mud bath.
Using modern Microlight Aircraft operation from our very own airstrip, this is possibly the ultimate safari viewing experience! The visual aspect from a microlight aircraft over a wilderness and big game area is spectacular and second to none, a view not possible from a 4x4 is one to savor and remember forever.
Kwa Madwala is very well located between Swaziland, Mozambique and The Kruger National Park and offers day tours to these destinations from our on site office.

One of the best l had seen. It's very unique. When you look at the rooms from the outside they gave an impression they are small and when you open the door, big surprise.
