Bushbabies Lodge offers Chalets, Equipped Safari Tented camps and Camping Site accommodation, and is situated on the North Eastern side of the Dinokeng Big Game Reserve. The lodge boasts a lovely shaded lawn area and lush green gardens, away from the busy hustle and bustle of city life.
The lodge boasts a variety of self-catering accommodation options to choose from. The luxury chalets include a family unit, honeymoon suite and all-rounder couples unit. Each unit has a private boma. The secluded honeymoon suite has a heated splash pool and is situated on the Big 5 fence line. The lodge also has Safari Tented camps consisting of dome tents with double or single beds, or an adventurous junior dome tent on an elevated platform on 2 camping sites, which is a favorite among young explorers. The Safari Tents are equipped with cutlery, crockery, a bar fridge, linen and towels, and each has its own private ablution and boma.
Spacious Shaded Caravan/Camping sites are also available and each has its own private ablution and boma and is shaded, with electrical and water connections. Meals are available from our restaurant and GIN BAR, THE SLIDE with an extensive menu to choose from. Catered conferencing facilities are available. Two inviting communal swimming pools, which includes a Lapa with a shaded braai and gazebos. A waterhole where wild animals gather an extension of the friendly family atmosphere and can be enjoyed by all guests. Firewood, bottled water, ice and firelighters are available from our restaurant.

The tented camp consists of a large tent with queen bed (sleeping 2 people) and an additional combination tent with a dome tent (double bed) and a \a additional connection with 2 single beds. This whole unit has it’s own ablution, boma an wash up facility.
Each camp consists of a dome tent with 2 single beds, and a double bed in a rooftop tent that is 1 metre off the ground. Each camp is equipped with linen, cutlery, crockery, microwave, bar fridge, electric kettle, 2-plate stove, and a private ablution.
- If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
- If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the booking total.

From O.R. Tambo International Airport: - This route has tolls. - This route has gravel roads. - Exit the airport, following signs for R21/Pretoria; - Merge onto the R21 and proceed 16.3 km; - Keep right to stay on the R21 and proceed 16.2 km; - Take exit 134 for the N1 N toward Polokwane and proceed 2.2 km; - Merge onto the N1 and proceed 48.3 km; - Take exit 183 towards Boekenhoutkloof/Hammanskraal/R101 and proceed 550 m; - Turn right onto the R734 and proceed 350 m; - Turn left onto the Rust de Winter tarred road and proceed 10.7 km until Safari Mall (a filling station, butcher, bottle store and supermarket); - Continue another 300 m and turn right onto De Wagendrift Gravel Road and proceed 6.4 km; - Turn right into the Dinokeng Wilderness Way Self-drive Gate and proceed following route markers for 1.4 km; - Turn left at the Arlington Brewery and proceed 260 m; - The entrance to Bushbabies Lodge will be on the right-hand side.
