Located just 19 km from the famous Twyfelfontein UNESCO World Heritage Site, the rustic camp is an ideal base for exploring the region’s ancient rock art, spectacular geological formations and desert attractions.
The camp offers three comfortable Standard Triple Rooms, each furnished with a double and single bed and featuring an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Rooms include a sitting area, desk, TV, garden and mountain views, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities.
Guests can enjoy daily breakfast and dinner at the on-site restaurant, with light lunches also available.

Located in northwestern Namibia’s southern Kunene Region, Khorixas is a semi-arid town of roughly 6,000 to 9,000 predominantly Damara-speaking inhabitants that previously served as the administrative capital of the former Damaraland bantustan. Set amidst a landscape of rugged hills, limestone formations, and dry riverbeds, the town primarily functions as a local supply hub with basic services like a fuel station, hospital, and regional offices. While local economic growth remains limited, Khorixas serves as a crucial transit stop for travellers exploring major geological and historic sites in the surrounding countryside, including the UNESCO World Heritage rock engravings at Twyfelfontein, the ancient Petrified Forest, the Organ Pipes dolerite columns, Burnt Mountain, and the 35-meter-tall Vingerklip pinnacle.

- If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
- If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
- If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
- If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.

* Same-day bookings: EFT and bank transfers are not accepted. Please make payment at the property upon arrival.
* All reservations should be confirmed in writing.
* A 50% deposit is required to secure any bookings, with the balance due 31 days before the arrival date.
* All provisional bookings will be held for 2 weeks from the date of the reservation, after which they will be automatically cancelled if not confirmed during that time.

1. Exit Hosea Kutako International Airport and follow the signs towards Windhoek.
2. Join the A1 and continue towards Windhoek.
3. Continue on the A1 for approximately 120 km.
4. Take the ramp onto the B2 and continue for approximately 60 km.
5. Turn right onto C36 and continue for approximately 67 km.
6. Turn right onto C33 and continue for approximately 7 km.
7. Turn left onto C36 and continue for approximately 7 km.
8. Turn right onto D2344 and continue for approximately 115 km.
9. Turn right onto C35 and continue for approximately 27 km.
10. Turn left onto D2612 and follow the road for approximately 57 km.
11. Continue on D2612 until you reach Twyfelfontein Mopane Camp.
