Tent-house and Caravan Park - The 9 Tent-houses are just part of the self-catering accommodation on the Africa Silks Farm, the others being Mulberry Lane Suites, Tsanana Log Cabins, and Memory Lane.

The Africa Silks Farm offers tranquil and comfortable accommodation on the only commercial silkworm farm in Africa. It`s situated 23 km outside Graskop on the R533 between Graskop and Bushbuckridge in Mpumalanga.

Our guests can enjoy meals at our Deck Restaurant, have fun in the swimming pool or browse our Africa Silks Shop. Tours to the silkworms are also available. There are ample braai areas on the farm and if you book in time, we can organise a campfire for you at one of our two bomas. Our farm is a haven for photographers and mountain bike enthusiasts with ample dirt roads crisscrossing the farm. We also have a 3 km hiking trail through the indigenous forest.

Explore the Graskop, Hazyview and Sabie area`s waterfalls, viewpoints and other attractions during the day, and come home to comfort on the farm. 24-Hour security guards on site. Come and enjoy our friendly hospitality in the most beautiful part of Mpumalanga.

Accommodation at Tent-House and Caravan Park:
Each Tent-house has 2 single beds, a kitchenette consisting of a microwave and small fridge, a kitchen cupboard and a small dresser. Two patio chairs. Electricity. Bedding and towels.

All our Tent-houses are situated among the avocado trees on the farm and are close to the wheelchair friendly ablution block.

Health and Climate:

Weather in the mountains can be unpredictable, make sure to pack some warm clothes in summer and some cooler clothes in winter. We are situated in a malaria-free area.

Cancellation Policy:

- In the event of premature departure we may charge for the full original booking.
- Cancellation 0 to 14 days before date of arrival, or no-show – visitor forfeits 100% of deposit paid.
- Cancellation 15 to 28 days before date of arrival – visitor forfeits 75% of deposit paid or 25% of full quote value (whichever greater).
- Cancellation 29+ days before date of arrival – visitor forfeits 50% of deposit paid or 25% of full quote value (whichever greater).
- A 15% administration fee will be charged on any refunds made.
