3 Umzimkulu is a three bedroom two bathroom unit within Mangrove Beach Estate Complex. Being one story up and situated right on the front corner of the complex, the unit offers the magnificent 180 degree view of Banana Beach and Koshwana Estuary and is a short 100m stroll onto the beach. The unit is fully kitted out with new quality appliances, a full DStv bouquet, and Weber gas braai. It is our hope that your stay is a comfortable, home away from home experience.

In addition to all the above offerings, the complex also offers a fully equipped laundry/ gym/ games room and swimming pool, all at no extra cost (with exception of the laundry). Unfortunately visiting pets cannot be accommodated.
This is truly an incredible part of the South Coast. On good days the coastline is regularly visited by dolphins & whales, and Banana Beach is a sea harvester’s delight, with Shad and Crayfish being caught regularly (-in season of course - just don’t forget your regulatory licenses). Being both on the beach and estuary, the birdlife is also a real treat for avid bird watchers, so don’t forget your binocs.
When the weather is not so fantastic, one can take a leisurely drive along the old coastal roads and visit the many little shops bakeries restaurants and get a true feeling of yesteryear - of course, should one need access to bigger shopping centers and chain stores, they too are just a hop skip & jump away (Hibberdene, Shelly Beach and Port Shepstone are literally on one’s doorstep) Other nearby attractions include a Crocodile farm, various golfing estates, with the infamous Wild Coast Sun Casino less than an hour away. Other major Centres like Amanzimtoti and Durban itself are also just an hour’s drive away.
If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
If cancelling 15 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 10% of the deposit.
