This unique private game reserve is situated in the world renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve, that borders on South Africa`s famous Kruger National Park.
Savanna is the epitome of a fully inclusive and diverse African wildlife and cultural experience, from memorable and exciting big game viewing, a nostalgic voyage into the pioneering era of the early settlers and founders of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, to a fascinating insight into the local tribal customs of the Shangaan people.
The central facilities include a dining room, lounge, bar and wooden deck, all overlooking a waterhole where some of Africa`s impressive wildlife come down to drink.
Full English breakfasts and lunches are served on the open air verandah, and dinner is served in the starlit boma.
The bar stocks an impressive array of quality South African wines, as well as a large selection of beers, spirits, and soft drinks.
In between game viewing activities and meals, guests may relax around the swimming pool or browse through the curio shop.
Savanna's suites combine the romance of a tented roof and draped inner ceiling with the sophistication of permanent structures that ensure absolute luxury and privacy.
Three top of the range Executive Suites each have their own private swimming pool, indigenous garden area, are fully air-conditioned, have bathrooms en-suite that include double wash hand basins, enclosed toilets, a unique double shower and a beautiful ball and claw Victoriana bath.
The four Luxury Suites are of equal standard, however, exclude the private swimming pool and double shower.
Pure cotton linen with hand embroidered wildlife designs, and top quality beds are standard. Rustic reed blinds, coir carpets, a draped canvas ceiling and built in lounge area with bolsters and scatter cushions, all combine to create the most luxurious tents in Africa.
