Rutland Lodge
Tucked away on a quiet tree-lined street in the stylish Cape Town suburb of Oranjezicht, is the 5 star Boutique Guest House Rutland Lodge.

This magnificent Cape Dutch house designed by Sir Herbert Baker is framed against Table Mountain and offers the most magnificent views of the City Bowl of Cape Town, Table Mountain, Lion`s Head, Signal Hill, the Atlantic Seaboard, and the far beyond Mountain range.

The original house was built in 1904 and was recently restored to its former glory into an exclusive Boutique Guest House. The renovations have retained the character of the era while ensuring that today’s discerning guests luxuriate in modern comforts with total privacy and personalized service.

Located in Cape Town’s City Bowl, Rutland Lodge is central to the major and most popular destinations such as Table Mountain(3 min.), the V&A Waterfront(7 min.), Clifton and Camps Bay beaches (7 min.), the Cape Town International Convention Centre, as well as the free-way leading to Cape Town International Airport or the Cape Winelands and its magnificent estates.

Nice clean house, good location and a very gracious host. He gave us an excellent insight into the town and things to do. Fantastic! The only downside was the hot water as it did not run properly, it would run out very quickly... its winter time =) Great job overall!
