Established in 2005, Marle’ Lodge Bed and Breakfast is a comfortable secure B&B situated in a tranquil environment 5 minutes from Alrode, Wadeville, Rosherville, Industries West, Driehoek and Rand Airport and only 15 minutes from Johannesburg International Airport. Marle’ Lodge is 100m off the N3 Freeway and is so centrally located that it provides easy access to all major routes in and around Gauteng.
We offer 11 double en-suite rooms, each with its own entrance and beautifully finished in an African theme. Two of the rooms have an inter-leading door to cater for families or groups who wish to stay together. Two other rooms have its own private hallway with a door which can be closed should you wish to have more privacy or for a family or group who wants to stay together. We also offer four self-catering units for those longer stays. All the rooms are non-smoking and equipped with USB multi plugs, aircons, kitchenettes, crockery & cutlery, Flat screen televisions with Open View TV, Netflix, ShowMax, YouTube, Redbull TV and much more.
For those that are visiting our town for training purposes and need a place to study, our bedrooms are equipped with a dressing table and chair which doubles up as study space or space for your laptop and all rooms have duel plugs installed for your convenience with a usb, double and three point plugs.
We have a beautiful lapa with two braai areas for people who prefer an informal dinner and some fresh air.
We have various outside seating areas which are great to sit at, enjoy a drink and the fresh air.
Marle’ Lodge is conveniently situated next to a lovely public park which boasts with an outdoor gym and playground for the kids as well as being across the road from a filling station, convenience store, Wimpy, Standard Bank, Absa Bank, FNB ATM’s as well as courier services.
There is ample secure parking with security guard/s on site and we invite our guests to make use of our licensed bar facilities, Lapa and patios where sundowners can be enjoyed.
We have high-speed (WIfibre), uncapped and un-throttled WIFI that is available in all our rooms and all outside amenities. We have also installed two additional WIFI extenders that will ensure that you are never out of range whilst enjoying your stay with us. We offer assistance with scanning, e-mailing, copying etc.

- If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
- If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
- If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
- If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.

1. Quotes and reservationsQuotes are valid for 48 hours from date of issue unless otherwise agreed. Should you wish to accept after this period, please contact us first to confirm availability and current rates. All bookings are provisional until the required payment reflects in our account.
2. PaymentA 50% deposit is required within 48 hours of receipt of the quote or invoice (no exceptions). The balance is payable prior to or on arrival — no payment, no key.
For bookings made within 7 days of arrival, full payment is required. Same-day bookings must be paid in full on a pay-and-clear basis.
If payment is not received within the stated period, the provisional booking expires automatically and the room is released. We cannot be held responsible for payments made after expiry if no availability exists.
3. Cancellations and no-showsCancellations must be made in writing. Refunds are calculated on the deposit:
– 30 or more days before arrival — full refund
– 21 to 29 days before arrival — 75% refund
– 14 to 20 days before arrival — 50% refund
– 8 to 13 days before arrival — 25% refund
– 7 days or fewer before arrival — no refund
No-shows and early departures are charged in full. Where a cancelled room is re-let for the same period, we will refund pro rata at our discretion.
4. Check-in and check-outCheck-in is from 14:00 to 20:00. Arrivals outside these hours must be arranged in advance so that we can make arrangements for your key — please advise us of your estimated arrival time.
Check-out is strictly by 10:00. Late check-out is subject to availability and may attract an additional charge.
5. OccupancyRooms may only be occupied by the number of guests stated on the booking. Additional guests must be declared in advance and will be charged accordingly. Children of all ages are welcome; please advise ages at the time of booking so that we can allocate suitable accommodation.
6. Breakfast and kitchen hoursBreakfast is served weekdays 06:45 to 09:00 and weekends 07:30 to 09:30. Guests departing earlier may request a breakfast pack in advance.
Breakfast is included only where stated on your quote. Self-catering units are quoted without breakfast.
7. Guest facilities and visitorsOur facilities — including the lapa, braai areas, patios and licensed bar — are exclusively for the use of resident guests. For the safety and comfort of all guests, visitors are not permitted without prior approval from management.
The bar operates during limited hours. No alcohol may be brought onto the premises for consumption in the bar area.
8. SmokingAll rooms and indoor areas are strictly non-smoking. Designated smoking areas are provided outdoors. A cleaning charge of R500 will be levied where smoking has taken place in a room.
9. PetsPets are not permitted on the premises. Certified service animals are accommodated by prior arrangement.
10. ConductWe ask guests to respect the quiet residential character of the area. Please keep noise to a minimum between 22:00 and 07:00.
Management reserves the right to require any guest whose conduct disturbs others or endangers the property to vacate without refund.
11. Damage and breakagesNo breakage deposit is charged. Guests are, however, responsible for any loss of or damage to the room, its contents or lodge property caused by them or their visitors, and will be invoiced for the replacement or repair cost.
12. HousekeepingRooms are serviced daily. Guests requiring privacy may request that servicing be skipped. Management retains the right of access to any room for maintenance, safety or security reasons.
13. Parking and securitySecure on-site parking is provided, with security personnel on duty and 24-hour CCTV monitoring. While every reasonable precaution is taken, vehicles and their contents are parked at the owner’s risk.
14. ValuablesA safe is provided in each room and guests are encouraged to use it. Marle’ Lodge accepts no liability for loss of or damage to cash, valuables or personal belongings, however caused.
15. Wi-FiUncapped, un-throttled fibre Wi-Fi is provided free of charge, subject to fair and reasonable use. Guests may not use the connection for any unlawful purpose. Availability is not guaranteed and no refund is offered for service interruptions outside our control.
16. Power and waterThe lodge is equipped with solar power, a backup generator and borehole water to minimise disruption during load-shedding and municipal outages. While we make every effort to maintain uninterrupted supply, no refund or rebate is offered for interruptions beyond our control.
17. Lost propertyItems left behind are held for 30 days. Valuables, including electronics, jewellery and documents, are stored securely and held for 90 days. Perishable items are disposed of immediately.
We will arrange the return of items by courier at the guest’s cost. Unclaimed items are donated or disposed of after the applicable period.
18. LiabilityGuests use the premises, facilities and grounds — including the braai areas, lapa and parking — at their own risk. Marle’ Lodge CC, its owners and staff accept no liability for injury, loss or damage sustained on the property, save where caused by our gross negligence.
19. Circumstances beyond our controlWe will not be held liable for failure to provide accommodation due to events beyond our reasonable control. In such cases we will refund monies paid for the affected nights or offer alternative dates.
20. Personal informationGuest information is collected and processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), solely for reservation, billing and legal compliance purposes, and is not shared with third parties except as required by law.
21. Acceptance
By making payment, in part or in full, or by taking occupation, you accept these terms and conditions as published at www.marlelodge.co.za.
FROM O.R. TAMBO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (±25 km, 20–30 minutes)
Leave the airport on the R24 towards Johannesburg. Merge onto the N12/R24 and take exit 113 for the N3 South towards Germiston/Durban. Keep left at the fork to stay on the N3, following signs for Heidelberg/Durban. Take exit 101 (M94) towards Germiston. At the top of the off-ramp turn onto Grey Avenue (M94) and continue, then turn into Collin Street. Marle’ Lodge is on the corner of Collin and Fraser Streets — the entrance is at 10 Fraser Street.
FROM JOHANNESBURG OR PRETORIA (N1 / N3 SOUTH)
Follow the N3 South towards Durban and take exit 101 (M94) towards Germiston. Turn onto Grey Avenue (M94), continue, then turn into Collin Street. The lodge is on the corner of Collin and Fraser Streets, with the entrance at 10 Fraser Street.
FROM DURBAN OR HEIDELBERG (N3 NORTH)
Follow the N3 North and take exit 101 (M94) towards Germiston, then follow the directions above.
ARRIVING
The lodge is only 100 m from the N3, so the last stretch is short — if you find yourself driving for more than a few minutes after the off-ramp, you have gone too far. Secure parking is inside the property. Please advise your estimated arrival time if you expect to arrive after 20:00, and note that airport shuttles are available on request.
