Mantenga Lodge

Directions from Johannesburg to Mantenga Lodge:
- Travel along the Middleburg/Witbank highway, until the Carolina turn-off.
- Turn right towards Carolina.
- Travel straight through the town of Carolina, through a few stop streets and cross over the railway tracks. Turn right where the sign indicates Mbabane/Oshoek.
- Travel straight to the T-junction and turn left where the sign indicates Mbabane/Oshoek.
- Travel straight until the Oshoek border post.
- Once in Swaziland, continue along the new MR3 highway towards Mbabane.
- Once in the town of Mbabane, travel through the first set of traffic lights, over the pedestrian crossing and turn right at the second set of traffic lights (there is an Engen garage on right and a Shell garage across the road).
- Continue through the next two sets of traffic lights and down the MR 3 highway; take the Ezulwini Valley turn-off (sign indicates hotels and Casino).
- At the top of the off-ramp turn right over the bridge (over the highway) and go straight at the stop street.
- Continue for approximately 6 km (after 3 km pass the Royal Swazi on right) and follow the signs to Mantenga Lodge.
- Turn right at the Mantenga Lodge sign onto a small tarred road and then right again onto the dirt road past Swazi trails until you arrive at the Lodge.

Directions from Kruger Park
- From Malalane Gate continue on the road for quiet a distance to the Border Post and then past Piggs Peak until you come to a T junction.
- Turn left to Mbabane onto the New Highway MR3
- Continue on this road for a fair distance and you will bypass most of Mbabane on your left hand side.
- Once in the town of Mbabane, travel through the first set of traffic lights, over the pedestrian crossing and turn right at the second set of traffic lights (there is an Engen garage on right and a Shell garage across the road).
- Continue through the next two sets of traffic lights and down the MR 3 highway; take the Ezulwini Valley turn-off (sign indicates hotels and Casino).

Directions from Durban
- The best route is to come up the North Coast past Stanger to Josini and turn right to Golela which is about 3 Kms after you cross the Pongola River. The sign is not to clear so be on the look out. If you reach Pongola you have gone to far.
- The border is about 10kms from the turn off. Go through the SA border and then to the Swaziland side. You have to pay R5-00 for you car.
- Follow the road for about 155 kms going past Big Bend and onwards (There are speed humps in the road but are indicated by road signs.
- You will reach a T junction. A Shell Garage on the left hand side. Turn left to Manzini.
- Carry on through the town of Manzini. Just keep going until you see garage etc on your left at Matsapha.
- Go over the bridge and continue on the double highway.
- Take the Ezulwini, Lobombo turn off.
- Turn left at the Stop Sign. Follow the road go midway round a circle. (Houses of Parliament, Museum etc on the left hand side.
- At the next stop sign turn right.
- Carry on this road until you pass the Happy Valley (Why Not) disco on your right and then after about 1 km. turn sharp left so that you double back the way you were coming. You will see the Mantenga Lodge Sign. About 1 km turn right to the Lodge.
