Lentegeur Wildlife is near Thabazimbi in Limpopo, South Africa, covering over 5,700 hectares of bushveld. The area features rolling hills, acacia trees, open grasslands, and rocky spots. Wildlife like kudu, impala, giraffe, and warthog live here, along with many bird species. Visitors enjoy game drives and birdwatching to see animals in their natural habitat. The climate is semi-arid with hot summers and mild winters. Summer runs from October to March, with warm weather and occasional storms. Winters are dry and mild from May to August, with cooler nights. The best time to visit is during the dry winter months for easier wildlife viewing. The reserve is about a 2.5 to 3-hour drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria. Some roads may need a 4x4, and cell phone signals can be weak, so plan accordingly.

Directions:
From O.R. Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg
1. Exit the airport onto Voortrekker Rd, then follow signs to R21 North toward Pretoria.
Merge onto R21 North, then take the N1 North (Polokwane).
Continue on the N1 for about 89 km.
2. Take the Bela Bela/Settlers exit (Exit 224).
Head through Bela Bela town:
Left after exit, then right onto R101
3. Follow local roads through town to reach R516
Continue on R516 for about 82 km to R511.
Turn right onto R511, then continue until it meets R510.
4. Turn right onto R510, drive about 6.6 km.
Then turn left onto a dirt or local farm road (unmarked).
After approx. 37 km, turn right—Lentegeur Wildlife will be on your left after about 9.4 km.
