Velddrif is one of the small fishing villages that dot this part of the ‘forgotten’ West Coast villages; where a visitor is greeted with silence, the space to explore, and where time slows inexplicably. This part of South Africa is one of the few places where one can, almost immediately, feel the pull of an era when time hastened no-one, and only the sea, the wind and the landscape had any effect upon you. Velddrif lies just a few kilometres from where the Berg River meets the sea at St Helena Bay. The next town north of here is Elands Bay and one would need to turn off the N7 at Morreesburg or Piketberg to get here.
If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
If cancelling 999 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.

Confirming Your Booking:
* A booking is confirmed only once the required payment has been received and a written confirmation has been sent to you.
* A deposit of 50% of the total booking value is payable to secure your booking.
* Bookings for one night only are payable in full at the time of booking.
* Bookings made within 14 days of arrival are payable in full at the time of booking.
Balance Payment:
* The remaining balance is payable no later than 14 days before your arrival date. If the balance has not been received by this date, Kolgans Guest House reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled, in which case the cancellation terms below will apply.
Cancellation Terms:
* All cancellations must be made in writing. The cancellation date is the date on which we receive your written notice.
* Notice given before arrival More than 30 days, 25% of the deposit is forfeited. 14 to 30 days, The full deposit is forfeited. Less than 14 days, The full amount paid is forfeited.
No Shows and Early Departures:
* Guests who do not arrive on the booked date, or who leave before the end of their booked stay, will be charged the full booking value and no refund will be given for unused nights.
Changes to Your Booking:
* Requests to change your dates are subject to availability and must be made in writing. A reduction in the number of nights or rooms will be treated as a partial cancellation and the cancellation terms above will apply to the nights or rooms cancelled.
Acceptance of Terms:
* Payment of the deposit or full booking value confirms that you have read, understood and accepted these booking and cancellation terms, as well as the Kolgans Guest House rules.
