Whether you are a local or international traveller, either for business or leisure, travelling solo or with your family or a group of friends, you can make yourself at home at KatiKati Eco Lodge, where the hosts will tailor your experience to your needs and interests.
We currently have 3 self-catering units available. More units will be made available as the upgrading and development of our lodge progress.
Unit #1:
Double studio accommodating 2 persons
This unit is a studio apartment, accommodating a maximum of 2 persons. It contains a double bed, lounge area, kitchenette, private bathroom with a shower and a veranda with braai facilities.
Unit #2:
Double studio accommodating max 3 persons
This unit is a studio apartment, accommodating a maximum of 3 persons. It contains a double bed, a single bed in the lounge area, a kitchenette, private bathroom with a shower and a veranda with braai facilities.
Unit #6: Group accommodation unit for 10 persons
This unit has 4 bedrooms and a loft area. There are 2 single or three-quarter beds in each bedroom as well as on the loft and can currently accommodate up to 10 persons. One of the bedrooms has an en suite bathroom containing a bath and basin. Two more bathrooms with a shower, basin and toilet in each, are shared by all guests in this unit. There is a large living room area which is shared by all occupants as well as a basic outdoor kitchen on the veranda. The kitchen is equipped for basic food preparation with a microwave, fridge/freezer and a 2-plate gas stove. There are braai facilities available at the outdoor kitchen as well as at the swimming pool.
Unit #3:
2-bedroom unit accommodating 4 to 6 persons (not currently available)
This unit is a double-storey, 2-bedroom unit, with 2 single beds in each bedroom. The rooms can accommodate 2 persons each in either the 2 single beds or in a King sized bed.
The main bedroom has an en suite bathroom, containing a shower. There is another bathroom (with shower only) to be shared by all occupants of the unit.
On the ground floor is a dining room, lounge and open plan kitchen. This room opens up to a veranda, facing the swimming pool area and view to the west.
Unit #8:
1-and-a-half-bedroom unit accommodating 3 to 4 persons (not currently available)
This unit has one large main bedroom and another smaller bedroom. Two sleeping options are available for the main bedroom - either two 3/4 beds or one extra king-sized bed.
There is a single bed in the smaller bedroom. The lounge area has a day bed, which can accommodate an additional person.
The kitchen, dining area and lounge area is open plan, with one bathroom to be shared.
A veranda area is available with outdoor furniture and braai facilities.

The name KatiKati means “in between” and was given to this small farm, tucked nicely between the surrounding farms in the beautiful Heidelberg Valley. This increases our security situation, and you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets without worrying about your safety. We are only 6kms away from White River, where you’ll find all the shopping facilities you need. Day trips to the Kruger Park and Panorama Route, as well as the Sabie River Valley and other attractions around Nelspruit can easily be undertaken.

- If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
- If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
- If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
- If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.
From Nelspruit and the N4:
Take the R40 towards White River. Just before you enter White River, turn left onto the R537 towards Sabie.
After 2.5 km, turn left onto the Brondal Road.
After 1.4 km turn right onto our farm road at the H1 KatiKati signboard. We will provide you with a pin code to open the gate at this point.
Follow the gravel road for 1 km until you reach our garden entrance.
From Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport:
Follow KMIA Road to R538. Head west and proceed 34 m;
At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto KMIA Road and proceed 1.8 km;
At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto R538 and proceed 3.0 km.
Turn left to stay on R538 and continue straight for another 5 km.
Turn right onto Nahemi Road and proceed 2.6 km;
As you enter the town of White River, turn right onto Alie Van Bergen Street and proceed to the next traffic light. Turn left onto Chief Mgiyeni Khumalo Drive/R40. Continue to follow R40 and proceed 1.7 km
Turn right onto R537 and proceed 2.5 km
Turn left and proceed 1.4 km
Entrance gate will be on the right at: H1 KatiKati.
Open the gate with the code supplied.
Follow the gravel road for 1 km, keeping to the left where there is a split in the road.
Follow the KatiKati signboards along the way until you reach the second gate.
Children under 12 years pay half price.
