Kalahari Red Dunes Lodge is located in the dunes and the savannah of the western outskirts of the Kalahari Desert, 200 kilometers south of Windhoek. The lodge, found in and around a dry lake, combines the charm of long-gone centuries’ safaris with modern luxury.
Kalahari Red Dunes Lodge offers ample space and lots of privacy. The main house, including a lobby area, restaurant, 2 bars, a spacious lounge, and a swimming pool with a sun deck, is located in a dry lake, a so-called „Vlei“. A 120m-boardwalk connects the main house with the Suites around the „Vlei“ where animals can be spotted.
Each Suite is a stylish combination of canvas-, stone- and thatched roof elements, offering unique designs and plenty of luxury. The outside areas of the Suites offer shaded couches and loungers to relax and observe the nearby wildlife.
On hikes and game drives or mountain bikes, the guests can experience the breathtaking beauty of the Kalahari with its red dunes up to 30 meters high and its rich wildlife stock.

The Kalahari Red Dunes Lodge is barrier-free for easier accessibility. All houses were designed without steps to climb. The main building is easily accessible via paved walking paths. Showers are flush to the floor, barrier-free, and very spacious.
