The Sabi Sand reserve is home to the 'Big Five' (elephant, rhino, lion, leopard and buffalo), as well as cheetah, wild dog and hundreds of other species of animals, birds and plants indigenous to the area.

All cancellations will only be accepted in writing and will only be effective on receipt of our cancellation voucher. There may also be cancellation fees levied by third parties or our affiliates such as flight or transfer operators.
Inyati Game Lodge reserves the right to charge the following cancellation fees should a confirmed reservation be cancelled within the following period: -
- 5% cancellation fee if cancelled more than 60 days prior to arrival.
- 25% cancellation fee if cancelled less than 60 days prior to arrival.
- 50% cancellation fee if cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival.
- 90% cancellation fee if cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival.
Kindly ensure that all guests are covered by a travel insurance policy to protect against unforeseen cancellation, delays, injury, loss or any other prejudice of whatsoever cause.

Inyati Game Lodge’s precise location may not be accurately represented on Google Maps. To reach our lodge, please use the NEWINGTON GATE entrance. (GPS Coordinates: -24.868989, 31.404586)
HERE ARE SOME ESSENTIAL DETAILS:
• Entrance to the Sabi Sand Nature Reserve requires a fee of ZAR 160.00 per person, payable at the gate. (2025 rate)
• Self-drive visitors must also pay the entrance fee of ZAR 350.00 per vehicle.
• Please retain your entrance receipt as proof and ensure it is stamped at our lodge reception upon departure, serving as your Exit Permit.
• Gate opening hours are from 05h00 to 22h00, but be aware that these hours may be subject to change. These restrictions are in place to protect the reserve’s natural habitat and wildlife.

To reach Inyati Game Lodge, head towards HAZYVIEW town. Turn off your GPS or SatNav devices and follow these directions carefully.
DIRECTIONS TO INYATI GAME LODGE FROM HAZYVIEW: (± 66 KM)
1. Once in Hazyview town, at the second set of traffic lights, turn right onto the R536 (Portia Shabangu), heading towards the Paul Kruger Gate.
2. Approximately 35km along this road, look out for signs indicating the Newington Gate / Sabi Sands and “Huntington, Lilydale and Justicia” on the left-hand side of the road. This turn-off is directly opposite the Main Gate Entrance to Elephant Point.
3. Newington Gate accesses the Sabi Sands Reserve, where Inyati Game Lodge is located – so please follow these signs.
4. Turn left and follow this tar road for ± 9 km.
5 . You will come to a 4-way crossing and turn right onto a gravel road. (Please note that there is a taxi rank at this 4-way crossing. There are also NO Stop signs. When you turn right onto the gravel road, the taxi rank will be on your left-hand side. If you miss the 4-way stop and reach the Viva Garage on your right-hand side, you have gone too far; you must turn around and return to the 4-way stop.
6 . After about 1.8 km, a small sign will indicate Newington Gate. There is also a sign on the right that says Happy Homes. Turn left here.
7. Continue this road to Newington Gate. You will be required to pay an entrance fee at the gate.
As you approach the Lodge, please be aware that you are in a wilderness area where predators and high-profile game roam freely. Do not leave your car for any reason.
- We regret that children UNDER the age of twelve (12) are not permitted unless the same group or family has reserved the entire lodge.
- The per-person sharing rate applies to children.
- Proof of children’s ages will be required upon confirmation
