Was good. Nothing to really inspire. The chalets can be better equipped.
I literally cannot fault Hippo Hollow. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The Lodge itself was very clean and extremely well kept. The rooms were a good size and very good value for money. The food was very good and the grounds were stunning.
I have been at Hippo Hollow several times on my way to the Kruger Park. The facilities and the location are very good - I especially like the restaurant with its view on the river.
