Each of the beautifully-decorated rooms at Grey Goose Game lodge offers guests a perfect sanctuary from which to experience the splendour of the Drakensberg Mountains. Exquisite views of the Grey Goose gardens, Game roaming and surrounding mountains can be enjoyed, while the Garden Rooms offer a more private and secluded setting. We can accommodate up to 64 people at any time and all our rates do include breakfast.
Everyone enjoys a candle-lit dinner once in a while, but not when it catches you off guard! Luckily, we are backed up with our own private generator which ensures that we never leave our guests in the dark.
Summer time is fun time! We make use of our own water pumps to ensure that our guests have uninterrupted access to water at any time. We promise that-with us- you will never miss out on your relaxing shower/bath.
We boast large premises with several venues and rooms. Needless to say, we have ample parking space available!
When out and about, the last thing you want to be concerned about is your safety. Fear not, as we have excellent security on our premises that ensures the safety of our guests and day visitors.
Restaurant and Private Dining
Our kitchen will delight your palate with trendy food that is big on flavour. Hestie Krüger, a consumer science pro together with her team create dishes for every occasion. Gooseberries, our in-house restaurant, offers an a la carte menu Monday to Saturday. There are private spaces available for lunch, dinner or indeed at any other time. In addition the restaurant is available for private hire. Not only do we cater for all sorts of functions, but we also offer our famous lunch buffet every Sunday.
Game Drives:
This 1000 acre game farm boasts nearly 1000 head of game including Zebra, Black wildebees, Red Hartebees, Springbok,
Blesbok, duiker, ostrich etc. In winter the herds roam between the lodge buildings. We have 3kms of river frontage (including ox bow lakes) and birding is popular. Fishing can be arranged by special request (Bass/Barbel/Eel).
