De Wilge is situated in the picturesque Nuy Valley with stunning views of the majestic Langeberg Mountains. The property dates back to 1905 where it originally served as an old wine cellar that has now been renovated and upgraded to make room for luxuriously furnished, private, and independent self-catering units.
De Wilge is situated on a working citrus farm, placing the self-catering accommodation units right in the heart of a farming community.
De Wilge offers up-market accommodation with safe parking on the premises, only 18km from Worcester and 36km from Robertson. Guests can expect Wi-Fi, aircon, and all the amenities necessary for a self-catering stay including fridges, freezers, stoves, ovens, microwaves, kettles, and dishwashers.
Our three self-catering units and two en-suite rooms inside the Manor House are all spacious and comfortable. Guests can cool down in the swimming pool on those long summer days that Robertson and Worcester are famous for, or warm up inside with built-in fireplaces.
Each unit has a covered stoep that offers majestic views of the mountain, with easy access to the family-size swimming pool – an ideal breakaway from everyday city life!

De Wilge offers a range of self-catering, luxurious and private accommodation at our working citrus farm in the Nuy Valley.
We have named each of our self-catering units after our citrus favourites:
Tango – luxury honeymoon suite, up to 4 guests
Lemon – luxury unit, up to 4 guests
Lime – luxury unit, up to 4 guests
Tango, Lemon, and Lime all have private balconies, an under-cover braai area, and beautiful views of the farm and Langeberg mountain range. Tango and Lemon are regular favourites for the private hot tub jacuzzis.
Our Manor House en-suite bedrooms can host 1 or 2 guests each.
Our self-catering unit, Lemon, features two luxuriously furnished bedrooms, where the main bedroom features a King size four-poster bed, and the second room has been furnished with two single beds. Lemon also features a private hot tub jacuzzi and a braai on the lovely, covered veranda (or “stoep”) for a blissful break-away.
Our Lime unit features two luxuriously furnished bedrooms. The main bedroom features a Queen size four-poster bed, and the second room has been furnished with 2 single beds. Lime features a braai on the lovely, covered veranda (or “stoep”), a built-in fireplace inside the living area, and a shared, spacious, and full bathroom.
There are two luxurious and comfortable en-suite rooms in the Manor House, perfect for when you need a private bedroom and bathroom for an evening stay in the Nuy Valley. Our Manor House Rooms are popular choices for wedding guests who are looking for accommodation close to wedding venues in the area.
The self-catering Honeymoon suite, dubbed ‘Tango’, features a private hot tub jacuzzi as well as a luxurious and spacious main bedroom with an open space shower and bath with a view. The second bedroom features 2 single beds and an en-suite bathroom.
Date changes are possible, but if cancellation is required our policy is:
- 1 month before check-in: 50% booking refund
- 2 weeks before check-in: 25% booking refund
- Within 2 weeks of check-in: 0% booking refund
- No smoking inside the units or bedrooms.
- The use of the swimming pool is at your own risk.
- No loud music after 11pm for the shared tranquility of all guests.
- Check-in time for all units is 2pm.
- Check-out time for all units is 10am.
- Special arrangements may be made upon request.
From Worcester:
- Follow the R60 towards Robertson for 13km.
- Take the Nuy turn-off to the left.
- Cross the railroad and follow the tar road for 3.3km.
- De Wilge is on your left.
From Cape Town:
- Follow the N1 highway towards Worcester for 107 km.
- Turn right onto Roux road, left onto High street, and right onto the R60.
- Follow the R60 towards Robertson for 13km.
- Take the Nuy turn-off to the left.
- Cross the railroad and follow the tar road for 3.3km. De Wilge is on your left.
