Caracal Lodge is a 300 ha game farm with 5 luxury self-catering cottages.
Kudu and Nyala cottages are 2 bedroom establishments with full bathroom, kitchen, lounge, patio, full DSTV.
Figtree, Magtree and Stone Circle luxury bush cottages for couples that love nature. They are very private and romantically lit by LED lighting and lamps.

The stove, fridge and geyser are all gas.
All our cottages have their own private braai areas.
We also offer game drives where at the same time you will have a real 4 x 4 experience enjoying our magnificent views.

We have marked hikes and 2 waterfalls. If you are adventurous you can visit our caves which are situated in a beautiful gorge next to one of our waterfalls.

Our dam is stocked with Bass and Kurper which can be caught on a catch and release basis.
We now also offer Clay target shooting over one of our beautiful valleys where you can test your skills and try something new and lots of fun.
Amateurs welcome as it is all under supervision.
Prior booking is essential.
Minimum 2 shooters per outing.

We have also recently added a pool ( snooker ) room for your enjoyment.

We are close to Kaapsehoop which is a quaint village famous for their wild horses. We are also close to the Sudwala caves and the Panorama drive is a lovely days outing on a clear day ( Sabie,Pigrims Rest ,Graskop, Gods window, Blyde River Canyon ).
Some of our cottages have now got their own Cuddle Puddle ( Rock Pool ) to relax in with a drink or just to cool down.
Have a unique experience and get to touch and scratch Gerrie our friendly giraffe who will visit you at your cottage.

Accommodation at Caracal Lodge:
- Each room have either Queen size beds or 3/4 size beds with beautiful linen and pillows.
- Each cottage is self catering.
- The 3 bush cottages each have an indoor fireplace.

Activities:

Our dam is stocked with Bass and Kurper and can be caught on a catch and release basis.
We have small caves where if you are adventurous you can visit ( Ladders and ropes provided to get there )
There are marked hikes and a 4x4 trail.
Our Forest walk is not to be missed.
We have a pool room and a small gym on the establishment.

Clothing and Accessories:

Walking and hiking shoes essential.
Binoculars and hats recommended.

Large 8 bedroom farm house suitable for large groups, self catering,large kitchen, lounge and dining area, 3 large braai's . Our Farmhouse accommodation sleeps in total 28 persons in shared accommodation and is let out as a unit.

In the event of a premature departure, we may charge for the full value of the booking. 0-14 days prior to arrival or no show - forfeit 100% deposit 15-28 days prior to arrival - forfeit 75% of deposit or 25% of full quote value whichever is greater 29+ days prior to arrival - forfeit 50% of deposit or 25% of full quote whichever is greater.
