Bohm’s Zeederberg Country House - country house accommodation between Sabie and Hazyview.
Country style accommodation is offered in 10 comfortable units situated in the rolling subtropical garden, each with private verandah offering breathtaking views over the Sabie River Valley. A swimming pool offers cool relief from a day of sightseeing, followed by a sundowner on our Sunset Deck. The beautiful garden is filled with indigenous trees and offers a myriad of birdlife as well as indigenous fauna and flora unique to the area.

If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.

From Johannesburg and Pretoria follow the N4 towards Witbank past Middelburg, then there is the choice of 3 scenic routes: Route 1: Continue on the N4 towards Nelspruit via Schoemanskloof , just after Montrose turn off onto the R539 towards Sudwala Caves. Follow the R539 for 8 km and then turn right onto the R539, do not drive straight on to Sudwala Caves! Drive 15km to Rosehaugh and then turn left to drive 26 km to Sabie via Hendriksdal. At the T-junction on Long Tom Pass you turn right, to reach the town of Sabie after a short descent of about 7 km from the Pass. Route 2: Turn off from the N4 highway shortly before Belfast onto the R33. Drive through the town of Belfast and at the last 4-way stop in Belfast turn right onto the R540 and travel 35 km to Dullstroom, straight through the town of Dullstroom and another 72 km to Lydenburg. Drive into the town of Lydenburg until you reach the big 4 way stop (with the Wimpy Bar on the opposite left) and turn right onto the R37 to travel 56 km over the Long Tom Pass to Sabie. NB! On both these routes you can expect thick misty fog during rainy weather and in the night on Long Tom Pass. When you have reached the town Sabie from Long Tom Pass turn right at the first stop street and then right again at the next stop street onto the R536. Travel 26.6 km on the R536 towards Hazyview, you can not miss our big entrance on the left hand side of the road. Route 3: Follow N4 until you reach Nelspruit, turn left and follow the R40 until you reach Hazyview. Turn left off the R40 at Perry’s Bridge Centre in Hazyview and travel 17 km towards Sabie on the R536, our entrance will be seen 100m after the Windmill Wine Shop on your right. Please avoid travelling at night - notify us if you will be arriving later than 18h00. Distance from Jhb Airport to us: about 450 km.
