At Baseni Air Guest House, shared living is carefully designed to balance comfort, functionality, and community, offering well-planned shared spaces, practical amenities, and a relaxed environment that supports privacy, convenience, and effortless day-to-day living for modern residents.
The Standard Queen rooms have access to 2 full bathrooms, located opposite the rooms. One offers a separate bath and shower, whilst the other has a bath only. The Cosy Queen room has an en-suite bathroom with a shower only. All rooms offer a desk, TV and tea-and-coffee-making facilities.
The shared kitchen is fully equipped and accessible to all residents, while each room includes a bar fridge for personal use, complemented by a communal fridge in a central area for additional storage.
The spacious backyard is ideal for relaxing or hosting small gatherings, with a small fee applicable, except on public holidays when guests are welcome at no charge within set limits.
Meals can be arranged upon request at a charge, via a third-party company. For special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries or honeymooners, special requests can be accommodated upon advance request at a fee.
Secure garage parking is available for two vehicles, with additional parking space in the private yard or near the garage.

Witbank means ‘white ridge’ in Afrikaans. In 2006, Witbank was officially renamed eMalahleni, which means ‘place of coal’ in Zulu. The farmland surrounding the city is being bought out by investors, coal mining companies, and real estate developers to accommodate the rapid development of the city. Visitors travelling from Kruger Park to Johannesburg, and vice versa, find Witbank to be a convenient stop on the route, and as a result, there is a range of tourist accommodation, including a number of hotels and many guest houses.
