Our tranquil and peaceful Lodge on the shores of the Olifants River, in the 40 000 ha Balule Nature Reserve inside the greater Kruger National Park, offers the splendour of the natural African Bush with breath taking sunsets, wildlife which includes the Big 5, bird watching, safaris, bush walks, boma-dinners under the stars, and is often referred to by guests as "Paradise" or "Heaven on Earth"

Our Lodge on the shores of the Olifants River, offers secluded and comfortable accommodation in 4 air conditioned en-suite thatched chalets, 2 luxury en-suite tents with ceiling fans, and 1 air conditioned en-suite thatched honeymoon cottage; while full breakfast/high tea and dinners are served at our licensed dining/bar area or around the fire in the boma under the African skies.

Animal sightings are a daily occurence. Vervet monkeys, hippos, bushbuck, warthogs, porcupines, elephants, lions, crocodiles, waterbuck, etc. have ben seen from time to times at the river front around the lodge.
Baluleni Safari Lodge is the ideal place to relax and unwind in total privacy, but is also situated between Orpen and Phalaborwa Gates inside the greater Kruger National Park, and offers you the opportunity to visit many of the tourist attractions.
The public section of the Kruger Park, surrounding towns, and other activities such as the Cheetah Breeding Project, Panorama Route, Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre, or Jessica the tame Hippo, Tshukudu for breakfast walk with Cheetahs and game drives, boat trip on the Blydepoort Dam, are within a short driving distance.

From Johannesburg
Take the N 4 towards Witbank, Middelburg Plaza, turnoff to Belfast, Dullstroom, Lydenburg, Ohrigstad, Abel Erasmus Pass, J.G.Strijdom Tunnel, from tunnel travel 10 km and turn left at fuel service station towards Tzaneen/Phalaborwa, travel another 10 km to signboard "Phalaborwa" and turn right towards Phalaborwa, travel 25 km to t-junction and turn left towards Phalaborwa R 40, within the next 5 km pass both die Engen fuel service station (Samey) on right hand site and the turnoff sign on the left to Tzaneen, about 500 meters passed this turnoff is a small sign "Parsons 155Kt" - turn right into dirt road, then 5 km to gate, than 7 km to plot 26 Baluleni (dirt-road of 12 km takes approximately 35 minutes)
From Hoedspruit
leaving the main tarred road between Hoedspruit and Phalaborwa ( R 40) at the the Parsons Nature Reserves, signboard (about 500 m after the Tzaneen R 71 turnoff), follow the dirt road for 5 km to the gate of the reserve ( R 50.00 cash conservation fee per vehicle for multiple exits).
Thereafter the dirt road continues for another 7 km towards Baluleni Safari Lodge at plot 26. Just remember, this is now big 5 country and stay in the vehicle.
Follow the signs to plot 26 to Baluleni.
