- If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
- If cancelling 45 days before arrival, forfeit 70% of the booking total.
- If cancelling 60 days before arrival, forfeit 30% of the booking total.

These terms and conditions will
apply to all bookings made or amended by any person, whether a booking
is made by an agent or Tour Operator for its clients or by a guest
making a booking directly.

GENERAL
• Rates are based on per person per night sharing unless otherwise stated.
• Quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated.
• South African rates include 15% VAT
• VAT is determined by South African Government Regulations and is subject to change
• Rates are valid for the year 2024.
GUEST POLICIES
• Strictly no pets allowed on any premises.
• Smoking is permitted in designated areas.
• Littering and feeding of animals are prohibited.
• Check-in time: 2 pm / Check-out time: 10 am
SINGLE RATE
Single occupancy of a room against a special will be allocated on a fair use basis (50% single rate applies)
PAYMENT POLICY
• A 50% deposit is to be made within 48 hours to confirm the booking.
• A booking is held as provisional until the deposit is received.
• The balance of payment is due 30 days before arrival.
• If a booking is made within 45 days of arrival, full payment is due on confirmation.
CANCELLATION POLICY
• Cancellations are only accepted in writing.
• Once the booking is confirmed and then cancelled an admin fee of 15% of the deposit will be charged
Other Cancellation Fees:
• Deposit forfeited between 60 and 46 days of arrival: 30%
• Deposit forfeited between 45 and 31 days of arrival: 70%
• Deposit/payment forfeited 30 days or less from arrival: 100%
We recommend you take out comprehensive travel insurance which covers cancellation. Bundox accepts no liability should you choose not to take travel insurance.

Amava River Lodge is located only 57.6 km from Hoedspruit and is easily
and affordably accessed by self-drivers from Eastgate Airport.
Alternatively, a road transfer from airport to the camp can be arranged.
* Self-drivers will meet the guide at the Grietjie Balule gate and park
their vehicles in a secured parking area. Our guides will be there to
meet new guests and take them to camp in a game viewer, so the safari
begins as soon as one is through the gate!
* Conservation levy and Vehicle Entry fee are payable on booking.
From O.R. Tambo International Airport:
- Take the N12 or N4 highway to Witbank / eMalahleni (from Johannesburg
Airport, follow signs to Boksburg to find the N12);
- Follow the N4 highway past Middleburg (Toll Plaza) and take the
Belfast turnoff towards Dullstroom on the R540;
- Continue through Lydenburg and Ohrigstad on the R36, go through the
Strydom Tunnel and take the R527 to Hoedspruit;
- Turn left onto the R40;
- Follow the R40 towards Phalaborwa;
- Continue on the R40 (the road eventually turns into the R530 as you
get close to Phalaborwa)
- Take the Grietjie Balule turn-off (it is well-signposted) and drive to
the Grietjie Balule gate;
- Sign-in at the gate and the team will meet you here;
- Bundox River Lodge will be at Balule North, Farm Doreen, Greater
Kruger National Park.
ACCESS
FLY:
• Daily flights to Hoedspruit’s Eastgate Airport from Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport and Cape Town International Airport.
DRIVE:
• 45 minutes by road from Eastgate Airport. Transfers can be arranged.
You will be collected at the reserve gate.
• Six hours by road from Johannesburg, via Polokwane and Tzaneen (recommended route)
No children under 16 years of age are allowed. Children aged 12 years and older are welcome provided the camp is booked out exclusively.
