A true South African culinary adventure.
The culture of any community is interwoven and inextricably linked to its culinary heritage. This we believe to be the essence of what we have set out to impart to our guests. The influences that have shaped our culinary heritage over centuries are testament to the richness and diversity that we see today in the tapestry of flavours, cultures and traditions that is proudly South African cuisine.
Prince Albert has numerous local culinary crusaders who have nurtured age-old methods of preparing traditional dishes and preserving local produce and we work closely with them to ensure that their valuable knowledge is preserved for posterity.
Our guests are encouraged to meet the local suppliers and indeed to visit the source of all the produce that we use. We only use seasonal produce and even encourage our local growers to experiment with heirloom seed stock and alternative and forgotten varieties of vegetables.
