Sandy Bay lies in one of the last remaining stretches of untouched natural coastline on the Cape coast along the road to Cape Point.

It is one of the peninsula's most inaccessible beaches and is very popular amongst the naturists.

Apart from its attraction to nudists, the area's unspoilt beauty has made it popular with hikers and conservationists.

Whilst at Sandy Bay, also visit the Cape Peninsula National Park. The Cape Peninsulas dramatic topography and Mediterranean-type climate has produced an enormous array of habitats which in turn means the park offers an incredibly rich variety of plants and animals.
