Activities

The activities at the Lodge include taking visitors for a walk through the villages to observe traditional way of life such as pounding, cooking, traditional doctors, weaving baskets etc.

During the walk you can have a talk with the village headman, have a look in the little grocery store and visit the orphan school which is benefiting from the Cultural Village Lodge. Visitors are sometimes also served with locally brewed sweet beer locally called IsiZulu or Isiqatha.

Enjoy a refreshing drink at our well stocked bar open every day whilst overlooking the rolling hills of the Nkwalini valley.

Traditional dances are also performed for the guests in the evenings. After the dances you can sit at the campfire and talk with the villagers, exchanging cultures and looking at the numerous stars.
