Wyford Farm is a small working farm, located in the mountainous area off Van Reenen Pass in the KwaZulu-Natal Region. Guests are accommodated in separate and private self catering units, each with their own BBQ area and garden. The units are serviced daily and pets are accepted on request. A good selection of home made meals, braai packs with salads and breads as well a cook your own Breakfast baskets are available to pre-order. We supply tea, coffee and farm milk. We’re within easy access of the N3 on a 2km hard surface farm road.

Fireplace, wood can be purchased on the farm. Electric blankets; Fridge; Microwave; stove; Kettle; Toaster; All crockery, cutlery, pots and pans.

Wi-Fi at the main house only; Farm pool (water dependent on rainfall); Horse riding; Walking trails; Bird watching; Bicycle routes - bring your own bikes. Bass fishing at the neighbouring farm with prior booking.

Summers are usually warm and pleasant and winters are cold at night but each unit has a fireplace and we do supply wood.
Aloe Cottage (Sleeps 5) A charming, self-standing cottage ideal for families or small groups. The loft features a king-size bed that can be converted into two singles, plus an additional single bed, and a downstairs bedroom with a double bed.
The cottage has a double bed in the main room, with a fireplace at one side. A kitchenette and bathroom with a shower.
Sleeps 8: one downstairs bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom (shower), one bedroom with a king bed (can be converted into 2 singles), and a loft with 4 single beds. A second bathroom with a bath is located downstairs.
The Garden Cottage sleeps 3 adults or children in a double bed and a single bed in the same beds sitter type of room. The bathroom has a bath and a free-standing shower.
If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 75% of the deposit.
If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.
Coming from the north (Johannesburg) travel on the N3 to Van Reenen and take note of the Halfway Caltex service station on the left at Van Reenen. From there continue on the N3 coming down Van Reenen Pass for a further 9 km and see our sign board to the left. (Our entrance is directly opposite to the entrance to the Pyramids Motel) Turn on to the farm road and follow arrows for just under 2 km to the main house from where you will be directed to your cottage Coming from the south (Durban) travel on the R 103 or N3 and come to the Tugela Toll Plaza. From there travel a further 15 km and see our signboard to the right. Turn on to the farm road and follow the directions above.
