Pet friendly accommodation, by arrangement, social pets, NO pets on furniture or beds, bring your own throws to protect our equipment please! Pets have their own enclosures and gates but may run around the property off lead if social and mix well with other dogs
Accommodation at Woodland Gardens:
Our self catering accommodation is situated 12 km past Magaliesburg on top of the rolling hills with our entrance on the main route towards Koster. We are easily accessible from the main road so you do not need an off road vehicle. We are close to all amenities in Magaliesburg.

We are 12km from Magaliesburg town, towards the NW, surrounded by farmlands and open space, we are on google maps and location pin
The Magaliesberg mountain region and biosphere has many attractions and activities for visitors, just a short drive away, from hiking, canopy tours, game reserves and game drives, horse riding, hot air ballooning, fishing, to the Cradle of humankind visitors centre and caves. We have a pool and 8 hectares of spcae, surrounded by farmlands, short walks or long hikes available in the area. Enjoy the space and peace, views across to the mountains in the distance.

Covid pandemic restrictions apply, cottages are cleaned and sanitised as per specifications hospitality industry
For all bookings, if guest has a Covid related or other illness, may be postponed to a later date within reason and during same seasonal rate period, if new date falls in a different season, the seasonal rates will need adjustment
Hot summer days, thunderstorms and accompanying power outs common, rainy season from Nov to April, gardens at their best, from June through to the end of Sept, mid Oct the gardens are in winter mode and struggle a bit in Sept/ Oct until we get rain, not at their best
Winter can get very cold from mid May through to end August, days are comfortable and sunny (unless a cold front present) nights very chilly and you need extra warm things and throws for sitting outdoors by the fire. There are fireplaces indoors in every cottage

Two full bedrooms and a separate bedroom with four bunk
beds. The two bedrooms have a either a queen size bed or two singles that
combine to a king size bed. Quality mattresses with bedside tables, lamps and
wardrobes. Both bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, one with a Victorian bath.
Both bathrooms have glass and tiled showers, basins and toilets with hand and
body towels supplied.
The two bedrooms and bathrooms are on opposite sides of the chalet for maximum
privacy.
The 4 bunk beds are in an extra room off from the lounge area. (Max 80 kg each)
The lounge is big with a sleeper couch, comfy couch, coffee table, romantic
wood fire place, dining room table, 32” flat screen TV with DVD player and
DSTV capable. (Please bring your own DSTV decoder, smart card, RCA cables and

Non-refundable deposit if booking cancelled within 30 working days of the arrival, if booking cancelled more than 30 days before arrival, 50% of the deposit is refunded, and 60 days or more prior to arrival, refund less 15% admin fee.

CANCELLATION POLICY: 100% deposit refund, if booking cancelled before 30 days of the arrival, if booking 14 days before arrival, 50% of the deposit is refunded, and 5 days or less prior to arrival, regrettably no refund
Please note due to the Covid Pandemic, bookings can be postponed to another date, within that year, seasonal rates apply if moved to a peak season date
We are on Google maps, Woodland Gardens R 509 Koster rd 12 km from Magaliesburg to NW province border. Location pins are sent to each guest with any directional assistance required, no difficult off roads, main tar road to our gate, ordinary smaller cars can easily get here, shadecloth covered parking on premises, secure and safe access
Only 2 of our cottages cann accommodate children, Kingfisher group/family cottage and Loerie cottage, the other 4 are couples cottages or 2 single adults only
Babies under 2 are welcome if sleeping with their parents, no charge
