Delicious farm breakfasts and dinner on request to be enjoyed in our charming dining room with a sizzling fire in winter or on the thatched patio overlooking the majestic Drakensberg. Flyfishing and canoeing in the dam, cool down in the pool or just relax in the lovely garden. Braai Facilities, fridge, fan, heater, coffee and tea making facilities and DSTV are available in all the rooms and in the lounge, cosy Pub!

Winterton Country Lodge has 10 suites available for accommodation.

Enjoy delicious meals from from R100 - R250 per person: Delicious farmstyle breakfast. Dinner on request, 3-course or light meals. All meals can be enjoyed in the lapa overlooking the pool and the majestic Drakensberg, or in the cosy Diningroom with calming music and a sizzling fire in the winter.

The Bungalow:
Rustic! Romantic, cosy, thatched rondavel with island style decor. The rondavel comes with a double bed and an old-fashioned bath in bathroom en suite. Facilities such as fireplace, TV, fan, heater, bar fridge, kettle,and microwave available. With limited cutlery and crockery, the rondavel has an outside mobile braai. A maximum of two guests can be accommodated in this unit.

Our very first room we have started with! A special romantic atmosphere in thatched rondawel, rustic, but cosy and leaves you with a special experience of an urge of coming back soon!

African Dreams Cottage:
A studio-type cottage that has a king bed and double bunkbed, en suite bathroom with shower. This cottage has fully-equipped kitchen, fireplace, television, heater and fan. With a mobile braai and enclosed patio, four guests can be accommodated here.

Bushman`s Cave:
A self-catering cottage with King bed & double bunk bed all in same bedroom, as well as a shower in bathroom en suite. Bushman`s Cave has a fireplace, air conditioning, TV, heater, fan and small but fully equipped kitchenette. Covered patio with mobile braai. This unit can accommodate a maximum of four guests.

Ethnic Moments:
This zebra-themed room in red, white and black, and has a king bed, shower in bathroom en suite and double basins. Facilities Coffee/tea making facilities, air conditioning , TV, fan, heater and bar fridge. A maximum of two guests can be accommodated in this unit.

Suite De Luxe:
This honeymoon suite comes with extra luxury! Spacious with king bed, double shower, spa bath and double basins.With an entrance in boma/braai area, this unit has a television, air conditioner, kettle and small bar fridge. This unit can accommodate two guests.

Love Suite:
This luxury spacious open plan room comes with a king bed or 2 x single beds, corner bath and private toilet. A bar fridge, fan &TV are available. The Love Suite has a private entrance, small patio with a view into open garden with pecan trees and Blesbok grazing peacefully. A maximum of two guests can be accommodated in this unit.

Hope Suite:
This luxury room has a king bed or 2 x singles, with shower in open bathroom. Included is a bar fridge, heater, coffee/tea station, fan & TV. Outside is a small patio, with private entrance and small garden. No self-catering facilities. Two guests can be accommodated here.

Peace Suite:
This luxurious spacious open plan room comes with a king bed or 2 x singles, an open shower with private toilet. Facilities such as bar fridge, heater, fan & TV are available. With a private entrance, small patio and garden, this unit provides a view into big open garden, with pecan trees and Blesbok grazing peacefully! No self-catering. A maximum of two guests can be accommodated in this unit.

Joy Suite:
This luxurious and spacious room comes with a king bed or 2 x singles, corner bath in open plan bathroom and private toilet. Facilities such as bar fridge, fan, coffee/tea station & TV are included. With rivate entrance, small patio and garden, the Joy Suite gives you a view into big open garden with pecan trees & Blesbok grazing peacefully! A maximum of two guests can be accommodated in this unit.

We are 2km just outside Winterton, on route R600 towards Ladysmith. Lovely garden , paradise like feel and atmosphere. We are about 350 km from Johannesburg, about 275 km from Durban, perfect halfway and overnight stay on route to the coast!
