Directions from Cape Town International: From Cape Town: * Take the N1, exit 47 to Wellington * Turn left onto the R44 just before Wellington (Direction Ceres) * Continue straight on for approx. 60km and then through the Nuwe Kloof Pass * After the pass, 2 km, turn left towards Tulbagh * After about 2 km, arrive at the stop-street, turn left into Tulbagh town * Go through the main street of town, past the shops, continue through the 4 way stop and past the church on your right * Drive for 9 km and turn left onto a dirt road just past ‘Vrolikheid’ Horse Farm which is on your right * Drive 900m, at the turn off to the reserve there is a sign at the entrance with a Blue Butterfly on it: ‘Welbedacht Nature Reserve’
