Accommodation at Vindoux Guest Farm:
If you would like to experience hotel suite extravagance in a unique setting, then the luxury tree houses are for you. Each of our secluded tree houses is set amongst the trees bordering the game camp or orchards, with views of the wildlife, orchards and majestic mountains right on your doorstep.
The Tree Houses
sleep two and are individually styled to include an en-suite bathroom with large spa bath, high quality bed linen, fluffy robes and tea and coffee-making facilities. All you have to do is add the romance, but that certainly isn’t difficult in this breath-taking environment.
Breakfast can be served directly to your tree house, or you could enjoy it on the treetop stoep, watching the zebra and wildebeest graze by. Our onsite dining also extends to a three-course dinner, so why not take the opportunity enjoy a romantic meal under the stars from your tree house? It is the ultimate intimate dining experience. Please note dinners are only available over weekends unless prior arranged with management.
(Please note that the individual nature of the tree houses means that not all tree houses will look exactly the same as the one pictured here, but that they all boast the same high standards and luxurious touches.)
Sometimes a good thing is impossible to keep to yourself, so why not book the luxury Tree Lodge and share the wonders of Vindoux with your family or friends?
The Tree Lodge
sleeps between 4 and 8 people and offers the perfect home-from-home experience with the added twist of being high up amongst the trees. There are three bedrooms, which can be king-sized or twins, two of which have their own well-appointed en-suites and Juliet balconies. There is also a sleeper couch for added sleeping space. The large accommodation also includes a family bathroom, a spacious open-plan kitchen filled with all of the mod cons, a dining area and a comfortable lounge featuring a television, DVD player and decoder (please bring your own card).
Plenty of space for the whole group to spread out. Obviously you would want to make the most of the views from this gorgeous lodge, so the floor-to-ceiling roll up blinds allow endless views over the orchards and to the mountain ranges beyond. And if that wasn’t enough, the Tree Lodge also has ample outside space. With its own private entrance and fenced perimeter, you are guaranteed your own little piece of Vindoux, with a large braai area with seating, a lawned garden and an enclosed pool for a refreshing dip.
Our Self-Catering Village
features four cottages all named after varieties of wine grapes. Set away from the farm, they are just a short stroll through the vineyard to the pool, game camp and Spa. They are perfect for those on a budget or those looking for a family or small group getaway. We have two 2-bedroom cottages and two 1-bedroom cottages. These cute rustic cottages all have en-suite showers, with the 1-bedroom units having the added bonus of corner baths. The cottages include a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge with a fireplace for the cold winter nights, bedding and towels. Outside, each cottage has its own lawn and stoep with braai area. Cottages are serviced daily and are close to our large family braai area and a small jungle gym for the kids. Well behaved small dogs welcome, but must be kept on a lead when outside as the cottages do not have private gardens.

Absolute heaven in the midst of the heat. Super clean and attention to detail. The hosts are hands on and friendly and we enjoyed the dinner and breakfast tremendously. First class.

We had such a wonderful stay, it was definitely one of the coldest weekends this winter but our treehouse was warm and cosy and the breakfasts were great! Beautiful place, will recommend to everyone!

Our stay at Vindoux was wonderful. Breathtaking scenery with a lovely self catering unit. Had a wonderful weekend. Staff very helpful and everything is well organized. Loved the fact that they promote local produce from the surrounding areas. Slightly disappointing with a deli order made as the content and price did not justify each other. Besides the last mentioned comment we enjoyed our stay, would most likely return and refer others traveling to Tulbagh to stay at Vindoux.

Our expectations were exceeded! The treehouse had almost all the luxuries of a hotel room. White crips and clean linen, towels and aircon! Waking up to mountain views and birds singing was just amazing. Breakfast was such a treat, being served at the room. So much attention to detail was given to breakfast, prettily plated and tasted divine. Although we were out most of the days exploring Tulbagh, we spend our late afternoons lounging around the magnificent pool. The water's temperature, just perfect and the garden well manicured. I would recommend the spa. We had a couples massage and the ladies were fantastic. As a result, I booked a facial for the following day, another great experience. Besides all the above, what made our stay awesome, was the utter customer centric approach by all at the Guest Farm. Vindoux, thank you for turning our getaway into a wonderful memory.
