Villa Mtati

Villa Mtati is an exclusive-use, self-catering beach villa with 3 en-suite rooms for 2 to 6 guests and is located within the secure confines of Mtati Lagoon, a private beach estate in the verdant heart of the Eastern Cape’s Sunshine Coast.

The villa offers families, friends, and couples a valuable opportunity to disconnect from everyday life, focus on each other, and relax and play on the pristine beaches around the private and secure villa.  Villa Mtati is perfect for wellness getaways, quality family time, or simply as a secret haven to rejuvenate mind, body, and spirit amidst nature’s tranquil embrace.

The spacious villa offers 3 en-suite rooms with a panoramic ocean view.  Opening to a patio, the suites are furnished with super king-sized beds with plush linen, dimmer lights and ample cupboard space.  The Nautilus and Moacha suite each have an en-suite bathroom with a bath and the Ostrea suite has an en-suite shower.  Robes and slippers are provided.

The hydro sauna, luxury Healing Earth skincare products and welcome gift are part of the Mtati signature.  Villa Mtati provides a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, fridge and freezer, mini bar fridge, drinkable tap water, a coffee machine, ice machine and air fryer.  In addition, guests will be supplied with a tray of condiments, homemade rusks and cookies, filter coffee and teas, white and brown sugar, fresh milk, cooking salt, pepper, herbs, serviette and popcorn machine.

The villa chef is also available to prepare breakfast.  The cosy lounge offers comfortable seating, a TV with DStv, an inviting fireplace with wood and unlimited Wi-Fi access.  Guests are welcome to use the spotting scope, board games, dartboard and chess boards.  Guests can relax on the decks in comfortable hammocks or deck chairs, and make use of the available yoga mat.  For added convenience, beach chairs, beach bags, water bottles, Lesotho grass hats, a canoe and sandboards are available for a visit to the beach.

The villa is serviced every morning, allowing guests to relax and unwind comfortably.  The villa concierge offers a bespoke service to deliver groceries and organise airport transfers to the villa, as well as outings in the area and pampering services.

Situated along the R72 route between East London and Port Alfred, the villa offers easy access to King Phalo Airport in East London and Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth).  Mtati’s proximity to renowned private game reserves such as Sibuya and Addo Elephant Park ensures encounters with the Big Five and other rare wildlife species.  During their stay, guests can explore South Africa’s pineapple production hub near the historic town of Bathurst or embark on scenic rivers and sea cruises.
