Really appreciated the electric blankets on the beds and the heaters - it was really cold!!! Otherwise the service was excellent and the supper was delicious. Would certainly consider staying over again.

I am grateful for a pet-friendly, tranquil place on a farm! The property is tidy and offers room to stretch one's legs, let the dog run and sports green grass to revive the travelweary senses and give relief from the dryness of the Karoo. One can sit outside and rest; there are also interesting items in the garden! Reception was prompt and friendly, supper was tasty and professionally presented, yet personal and warmhearted. I was comfortable in the rondawel, the bathroom is wellappointed and spacious. I felt safe, my car was conveniently parked in front of my room. I will use this estabishment again.

Needing an overnight venue to break the long Johannesburg - Cape Town run, and having a four legged passenger - Van Zylsvlei was an excellent well priced option. The room was clean, and well maintained. A pleasant simple meal was available for supper and a pleasant quiet evening was enjoyed. Would definitely use them again.
