Prepare simple meals in your kitchenette, which includes a stove, bar fridge, oven, and essential coffee and tea-making facilities.  The cosy living area is designed for relaxation, featuring a comfortable couch and a Smart TV with access to your favourite streaming services.

Step out onto your private patio, which offers outdoor furniture and a dedicated braai area perfect for al fresco dining. Guests are also welcome to enjoy a refreshing dip in the communal swimming pool.

Lying in the foothills of the Outeniqua Mountains in a region of incomparable beauty, Wilderness is an attractive holiday resort with beautiful beaches and numerous vantage points from which to watch the whales and dolphins. The romantic resort of Wilderness lies 15 km east of George, between the Kaaimans River in the West and the Goukamma Nature Reserve in the east, bordered by the Outeniqua Mountains in the north and the Indian Ocean in the south. Wilderness is renowned for its vast stretches of beach, its peace and tranquillity and the absence of windswept headlands and wild, stormy seas. The long stretch of beach embraces the mouths of the Touw and Kaaimans Rivers, and is backed by northward cliffs over which the fringe of the forest reaches down to sea level.

Cancellation Policy:

-  If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
-  If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
-  If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
-  If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.

Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to not refund card fees (transaction costs) in the case of any cancellation or situation where funds need to be reversed back to a credit card. The cardholder & ID/Passport must be present at check-in. The credit card used for the online payment must be present at check-in.

Directions:

From George Airport: 1. As you exit George Airport, you'll soon reach a T-junction - take a right turn there and follow the signs for the N2 Highway towards Knysna and Plettenberg Bay. 2. Hop onto the N2 Highway by turning left. 3. You'll pass the city of George on your left-hand side. The total distance from the airport to here is about 14 kilometres. 4. Continue on the N2. You'll pass the Sandkraal Road turn-off, and the highway will then merge with Knysna Road from the George City Centre. Look out for the Garden Route Mall on your left. 5. Stay on the N2 as it winds its way through the beautiful Kaaimans Pass. As you exit the pass, you should see an Astron Fuel Garage on your left. 6. After the Astron, get ready for your first turn-off into Wilderness! 7. At the Caltex Station - on your right, turn left into George Road. 8. Keep going along George Road, passing right through the village and the Wilderness Hotel on your left. 9. At the T-junction with Waterside Road, turn left. 10. Take the second road on your right- this is Constantia Kloof Road. You'll know it by the white walls with black writing. 11. Drive a short distance up Constantia Kloof Road- just about 400 metres- until you see the Boardwalk Lodge sign on your right. 13. Turn right onto Young Terrace and follow the driveway up. You'll pass a yellow house on your right. Keep driving up the driveway until you reach the boom gate. Please stop here and WhatsApp or call so we can open the gate for you.
