Located in the breathtaking Kiepersol Valley, Ulwazi Rock Lodge - a 4 star rated self-catering unit - is built on a natural rock foundation and offers Spectacular views of the natural surroundings. The near perfect subtropical weather conditions lend to the tranquil atmosphere surrounding the Lodge, with its lush gardens.
Situated on a peaceful yet very vibrant family farm located on the outskirts of the Kiepersol Valley, the Lodge is the perfect destination for short escapes from the city, as well as long family getaways with easy access to all the popular tourism hotspots of the Lowveld.
Facilities and Services:
Ulwazi Rock Lodge can accommodate up to 12 guests (plus 2 on a sleeper couch), however smaller groups are welcome. The villa features four en-suite rooms. The first three rooms each contain queen-size beds overlooking a beautiful dam. The fourth room contains 2 single beds. The other two rooms are situated in the cottage which is surrounded by a lush tropical garden, and these bedrooms each contain twin single beds moved together.
The cottage has a sleeper couch available that can sleep 2 extra people. Bath towels are provided for each room.
The kitchen, lounge and dining areas are open plan and spacious which adds to the serenity of the villa. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble-dryer. The lounge and cottage boasts a flat screen television with DStv, braai facilities, and an indoor swimming pool that is structured around a magnificent natural rock. The villa and cottage include housekeeping daily except Sundays and public holidays. Secure on-site parking is also provided. Other facilities:-

Ulwazi Rock Lodge is situated on a family farm approximately 5 km from Town Centre farming Flowers and Macadamia Nuts, the area is very lush and peaceful for a real getaway from the Big City. We are 15 minutes drive from Phabeni gate for the Kruger National Park and many activities in the area, very Central.
We are sub tropical weather wise and winters are very mild beautiful days and cooler evenings. Worth a visit with fond memories for long after your visit.
There is fishing in the Dam own equipment, also lovely walks on the farm.
The area has many attractions to visit, town has entertainment for youngsters a lot to do.
Hazyview has many Take Away’s as well as lovely Restaurants to sit down and eat
Topolinos, Pioneers, Kuka Cafe to name a few all situated at Perry’s Bridge.
Men: Shorts or jeans throughout the year days are glorious, evening in Winter Months need a jacket if outside.
Woman : Shorts/Skirts/Jeans/ Sleeveless tops for during the day, winter evenings a jacket or jersey if outside.
Casual wear for the area Sun Hat for during the days if outside and sun protection cream for skin.

Weather is wonderful here all year round during the days, winter gets a bit cool in the evenings.

Ulwazi Rock Lodge is a self catering Lodge has 6 en-suite bedrooms with maximum 12 guests with an additional sleeper couch for kids with indoor swimming pool and fully equipped kitchen.
If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in. (Negotiable)

For a full refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel at least 14 full days before the listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email). The service fee will not be refunded unless the guest cancels within the free cancellation period for their reservation.

For a 50% refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel 7 full days before the listing’s local check in time (shown in the confirmation email), otherwise no refund.
Early Departure Late Cancellations
If the guest cancels less than 7 days in advance or decides to leave early after check-in, the nights not spent are not refunded.
