Located on Hunda Island, Tubu Tree Camp is built in traditional style, with elevated wooden walkways. Hunda Island is known for its concentrations of game and offers both spectacular wildlife viewing on land, and tranquil adventures on the water. This combination of activities makes Tubu a complete Delta adventure.

Accommodation - Classic Camp:

These camps are designed in traditional safari style and are mostly stylish canvas constructions, often raised off the ground on wooden decks. Located in exceptional wildlife and wilderness areas, all offer superb facilities and accommodation. The camps range in size from 3 to 12 tents.

The wooden walkways connecting eight tents on raised platforms each with picturesque lookouts of the surrounding floodplains from a private deck. En-suite bathroom facilities and an outdoor shower are standard, while a family unit consisting of two adjoining tents and separate bathrooms share a lounge. The main dining and lounge areas and pool are raised to maximise the vistas, and an open bar area is shaded by a large marula tree.

Wildlife :

Wildlife seen around Tubu Tree includes elephant, lion, Burchell`s zebra, red lechwe, southern giraffe, tsessebe, and blue wildebeest on the floodplains. Kudu, impala, bushbuck and leopard are also seen in the forested areas. The variety of birdlife is impressive, with dry-land species seen on the larger islands and a multitude of wetland birds seen on the floodplains and waterways.

Cancellation Policy:

If a cancellation is made more than 8 weeks before departure then the guest loses his non-refundable deposit - which must
be paid over to us.
If a cancellation is made between 4 weeks and 8 weeks, the guest loses his deposit plus 25% of the safari price.
If a guest cancels between 3 and 4 weeks prior to departure, the guest loses 50% of the safari price.
If a guest cancels between 2 and 3 weeks prior to departure, the guest loses 60% of the safari price.
If a guest cancels less than two weeks prior to departure, the guest loses 100% of the safari price.
