Tsitsikamma Lodge and Spa is set splendidly against the foothills of the Tsitsikamma Mountain range, and is sheltered by the forest fringe. The lodge draws its architectural style from the surroundings. Built entirely from timber sourced from the local forests, Tsitsikamma Lodge has been created over many years of building and shaping. The unique, free-standing log cabins are cosy, fitted with spa baths and offer incredible views of the gardens, mountain and forest.
This multi-award winning lodge boasts a tranquil swimming pool, and the on-site spa makes for complete relaxation. For activity, play a game of table tennis in our games room, enjoy a swim in the mountain stream or follow one of our hiking trails, more particularly, our well-known striptease trail.
Lunch options include a simple snack menu, lunch pack (ideal for trails) or explore some of the local eateries.
Away from the mainstream rush, Tsitsikamma Lodge offers a unique conference facility in a peaceful setting. This venue is ideal for meetings and small conferences.
You can experience a first in Africa - their Tsitsikamma Tree Top Canopy Tour, or take a ride with them down the old Storms river pass, on the Woodcutters Journey.
Diagonally across from us, is Tsitsikamma Falls Adventures, and they have a variety of team building events that you can partake in - foefie-slide their famous Waterfalls Zipline Tour, or experience gravity at its best with their gravity zone abseil, or ride a Grizzly quad bike, or what about a paint ball fight.

Accommodation at Tsitsikamma Lodge and Spa:
The lodge is made up of 32 cabins - 4 gardenette, 22 garden, 3 luxury and 3 Honeymoon cabins. Each cabin is tastefully decorated and built entirely from wood from the surrounding areas. All cabins are fitted with a spa bath, as well as a private deck with braai/BBQ facilities.
Gardenette Cabins:
Gardenette cabins are equipped with double bed, oil heater, ceiling fan, safety deposit box, mini fridge, tea/coffee station, TV with selected DSTV channels, open plan bathroom with shower, spa bath and toilet.
Garden Cabins:
Garden cabins are equipped with double bed, single bed (downstairs), twin beds (upstairs), oil heater, ceiling fan, safety deposit box, mini fridge, tea/coffee station, TV with selected DSTV channels, en-suite bathroom with shower, spa bath and toilet.
Luxury Cabins:
Luxury cabins are equipped with double bed (upstairs), single bed (downstairs), lounge with fireplace, oil heater, ceiling fan, safety deposit box, mini fridge, tea/coffee station, TV with selected DSTV channels, en-suite bathroom with shower, spa bath and toilet.
Honeymoon Cabins:
Honeymoon cabins are equipped with queen size bed, lounge with fireplace, oil heater, ceiling fan, safety deposit box, mini fridge, tea/coffee station, TV with selected DSTV channels, en-suite bathroom with shower, spa bath and toilet.
Selfcatering Unit:
Set directly opposite the restaurant, you would only be a few steps away from a delicious meal, or a sparkling refreshment. Alternatively, cook your own meal in the kitchenette, or braai outside on your private deck.
The cabin can sleep up to 6, with one bedroom equipped with double bed, and the other with two bunk beds. In the separate bathroom you will find a double shower, basin and toilet.
Put your feet up in the open-plan lounge with TV, or take a stroll or a hike on one of our very popular hiking trails in the forest. There is also plenty to do in and around Tsitsikamma - The Big Tree, Birds of Eden, Segway Tours, to name but a few.

If a guest wishes to cancel his/her reservation, he/she must do so as soon as reasonably possible. A “no show” will result in a 100% cancellation fee.
No verbal cancellations will be accepted. All cancellations must be done in writing and no exceptions in this regard will be allowed.
A cancellation fee of 100% of the total booking will be charged if a guest cancels his/her reservation less than 48 hours prior to arrival.
A cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking will be charged if a guest cancels his/her reservation 14 days prior to arrival.
A cancellation fee of 30% of the total booking will be charged if a guest cancels his/her reservation 30 days prior to arrival.
The above cancellation penalties will also apply should there be a reduction in room numbers.
