Affordable, quality self catering accommodation set at the foot of the Witels Peak mountain in the heart of Tsitsikamma, the Garden of the Garden Route, South Africa.  Nestled at the foot of the Witels Peak of the Tsitsikamma Mountains, Tsitsikamma Cottages is the ideal choice for your well-deserved break.

Tsitsikamma Cottages is all about home; community and about connecting with our guests on a personal level.  Bring your kids and the family to relax and reconnect around our swimming pool or a crackling braai fire.  Allow us to steal away your worries, even if just for a short while.  Our unspoiled, panoramic views, wide open spaces and fresh mountain air make it difficult not to unwind.

Not only do we offer some of the best value for money, inexpensive but quality accommodation in Tsitsikamma but our array of options is so diverse that there is truly something for everybody.  From the original freestanding cottages to the tasteful family rooms, all our units are TGCSA three star graded and fully equipped for self catering.  We have nine units in total which can accommodate up to 33 sharing guests. Our 4 hectare resort boasts a relaxed country atmosphere; the immaculate lawns give way to a large farm dam in the east, and our guests are welcome to go canoeing - all gear is provided at no additional cost.  Children are encouraged to enjoy our trampoline and playground. We also have a recreational space with a pool table and table tennis table for your entertainment.

We are situated within close proximity to all of the renowned activities, sights and restaurants in Tsitsikamma;  located 10km before the Storms River Bridge on the Port Elizabeth side.  Choose us as your base from which to explore the greater Tsitsikamma and surrounding areas. Morning Dew Cottage

The popular Morning Dew Cottage caters for a couple in need of some quality time. It has an open plan living and bedroom area with a queen size bed and fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower and a private braai area. The cottage has a flat-screen TV with OpenView HD channels, as well as a digital safe. No WIFI in the room, but free WIFI is available at Reception. The smaller of our two freestanding cottages offers country tranquility and relaxation at its best.

Mountain View Cottage

The freestanding Mountain View Cottage is ideal for a family, comfortably sleeping 5. It has two bedrooms - one twin, one double and a single bed in the lounge. It has an open plan living area and fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower and a private braai area. The cottage has a flat-screen TV with OpenView HD channels, as well as a digital safe. No WIFI in the room, but free WIFI is available at Reception. Enjoy unspoiled views of the Witels peak mountain whilst relaxing on the patio.

Panorama Suite

Located on the first floor of the main building, the Panorama Suite offers the most spectacular views of the Witels Peak, accommodating up to three guests. It has a fully-equipped kitchen and open plan living area; one bedroom with a double bed and one single bed in the lounge, bathroom with shower and a private deck. The room has a flat-screen TV with OpenView HD channels, as well as a digital safe. Free WIFI is available in the room. Unfortunately it has no braai facility, but guests are welcome to make use of the communal braai area near the dam. Ideal for those in search of peace and quiet.

The room has a flat-screen TV with OpenView HD channels, as well as a digital safe. No WIFI in the room, but free WIFI is available at Reception.

Cancellation Policy:

If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.

Terms and Conditions

* To avoid any misunderstanding, a booking constitutes a binding contract.
* All guests confirming a booking are advised to take out insurance to cover the cost of their accommodation in the event of a cancellation.
* A 50% deposit is required to secure a booking. The balance is payable on arrival.
* Check-in time is from 2 pm until 7 pm. Late check-ins should be arranged prior to arrival, please.
* Check-out time is 10 am, as the units have to be prepared for the next occupants.
* Accommodation will automatically be cancelled if the deposit is not received by the due date.
* Deposits are not refundable in the event of non-arrival.
* If a portion of the booking is cancelled after arrival, the deposit plus a cancellation fee of 50% of the cancelled period will be forfeited.
* Cardholder & ID/Passport is required at check-in / preferably prior to arrival
* Credit card used for online payment to be present at check-in
