Our establishment has six stylishly decorated rooms, which are well suited to both families as well as the discerning businessman. All rooms have private access and are en-suite. Breakfast is served between 6 and 9 but can be arranged for earlier if requested in advance. Breakfast is a full English breakfast which consists of eggs, bacon, sausage and grilled tomato as well as seasonal fruit, yoghurt, cereal, orange juice and tea and coffee. Watch the sunrise or sunset from our lovely deck overlooking the ocean while calming down from that hectic day. Our place is your home away from your home .
In-Room facilities:
All rooms are en suite with air-conditioning, television with select DSTV channels as well as tea and coffee facilities. All rooms can accommodate two people with the Ovington and Oceanos being able to accommodate a family of 4 on special request. Coopers/Oceanos/Ovington rooms can all be split into seperate beds. You will no longer sit in the dark at our property during loadshedding with our new fitted ceiling battery operated lights by just a click of one switch you can use if only for loadshedding or use it as the normal like as it lights up the whole room like normal lights. We now also have a WIFI back up system which means our wifi will not go down during loadshedding so take advantage of this amazing facilities while relaxing.

Secure Parking on site behind locked gates with remote access. Braai facilites on request with all equipment.
Watch the whales or dolphins go by while relaxing either after a long day of work or just on holiday. Our place is like home as its a home away from a home.

If cancelling 0 days before arrival, forfeit R100.00.
If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.
50% deposit will secure your booking and needs to be paid within 48 hours from the time the booking was made with balance payable on arrival. All Reservations to be secured with credit card details or and EFT (POP to be sent to enquiries@thetidesinn.co.za) Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations made on or after day of arrival 100% of the reservation. Cancellations made less than 15 days prior to reservation - 50% of the reservation. Cancellations made more than 15 days prior to date - 20% of the reservation. Suites will be available from 2 o clock on day of arrival. All guests to present valid identity book or passport, on check in, Suites must be vacated by 10am on day of departure. Late Checkouts must be pre-arranged with reception as new arrivals are expected at 2pm, failure to do so will allow The Tides Inn to charge a R100,00 per hour, Early check in must be pre-arranged and requested prior to arrival with reception. Late arrivals beyond 8pm pre-arranged with reception, prior to arrival. Unplanned late arrivals after 20:00 will be charged R100,00 per hour, A braai is possible as long as arranged with the manager and will be used in the permitted area. Weekdays Breakfast is served 06:30-09:30/ Weekends Breakfast is served 07:00-10:00. Breakfast is Served in the Dining Area. There will be no Breakfast and no Room Service on Christmas Day/New Years Day, Housekeeping will be done daily from 8 until 12:00, should no room service be required please advise staff. Laundry - Prior arrangements to be made with the manager. No Room towels are to be taken to the beach- Bring your own towels. Please bring your own pet supplies (beds/Bowls) Guest visitors - all visitors must register at reception. Right of Admission is reserved. * Right of admission Reseved * Guests receiving visitors must inform the manager prior to arrival. * Visitors spending the night @ The Tides Inn, must be arranged with the manager and the agreed rate must be paid. * Any unauthorized visitors staying at The Tides Inn will result in the guest been liable to pay full room rates. Guests and guest visitors attend this establishment at their own risk. The proprietor, its agents, and/or its employees, shall not be liable for, the guests hereby waive/s and abandon/s any claims of whatever nature including but not limited to that for theft, injury, loss or damage of whatever nature against the proprietor, whether arising from the proprietors default, negligence or otherwise. The guest/s in addition to the aforesaid, hereby indemnify the proprietor against any claims which may arise from whatever nature, Whether arising from the proprietor’s default, negligence or otherwise.
