Simon’s Town is South Africa’s Naval Base. Having been a British Colony and base for the Royal Navy, there is a distinct British feel about the Town in the architecture. Simon’s Town is 40 minutes drive from Cape Town City Center, the Airport and the Winelands. Cape Point is a 10 km drive away.

This charming double room and private en suite, provides the perfect stay for two. Situated on the main level of the house next to the main entrance. Enjoy the surrounds of Simon’s Town and a 5-minute walk to Boulders beach.

Our deluxe room is situated on the lower level with a private entrance and easy access to the pool. A comfortable queen sized bed with an en suite bathroom, refreshment amenities and a separate kitchenette.
Our classic en suite room is ideally situated to the garden and pool with a semi-private outdoor seating area to relax and enjoy a sense of peace and tranquility.
All cancellations must be done in writing. In terms of Chapter 2, Section 1 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, Cheriton Guesthouse is committed to best practice and as such has aligned its refunds policy to be in line with the Consumer Protection Act. (Section 17, subsection 3 (b); 4(a-d).
Directions from Cape Town International Airport:
Distance +/- 45 kms (about 45 mins depending on traffic):
Take N2 to Cape Town, then M3 to Muizenberg. At the T-junction at end of M3, turn right to Simon’s Town and left at the 2nd traffic light over Ou Kaapse Weg (M64).
Travel through Sun Valley and Glencairn until you reach a T-junction facing the sea. Turn right on to the M4 to Simon’s Town.
Travel through the town passing the station, shops, Tourist bureau. At the Police Station travel another 1km until the Seven Eleven.
Turn right into Harrington Road. At the top, turn right into Jan Smuts.
The Cheriton Guest House is on the next corner - 19 Belmont Road.
