In Room Facilities:
Comfortably furnished in a rustic theme. Cozy up in front of indoor fireplaces during winter nights whilst summer evenings are braai-time in the private bomas under the stars. Expect a fully equipped kitchen. Bath towels and linen are provided but we ask that you bring along your own swimming towels. A friendly reminder to bring your pets own bedding and bowls. On request we have cots and high chairs availabe to rent. Dstv is available in four units (excluding Owl cottage).

Two bungalows with three double rooms each plus a living room/kitchen with fireplace. The master bedrooms are en-suite with fireplaces and both have sleeper couches & inter-leading door from the main bedroom for children’s access. Both with DSTV.
Cosy for two with a queen size bed.. Fully equipped kitchen with a fire-place. An open plan living room with TV (bring own devices/data) No wi-fi available. Spacious double room with en-suite shower. Single bed in living room. Fits a cot/stretcher.
If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
If cancelling 28 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.
Advertising as a quiet breakaway we have a strict no-noise policy. If you can book the whole venue management will accept a group booking. Check in time 2pm and check out at 10am. Please keep in mind that we charge a Refundable key/breakages deposit - R500 per unit, payable in cash on arrival please, or if arranged EFT payments will be accepted. The cash will be handed back after checking out of the unit. Pets are welcome and we ask that you bring their own bedding, bowls and covers for beds and couches please. None of the units are fenced but please discuss with us the possibility. Dogs need to be social and mingle with other visiting dogs. We do have farm animals roaming free. Please do not smoke in the rooms, outside is acceptable and we ask that cigarette butts are disposed of in dustbins. No arrivals later than 8 pm unless arranged with the venue. From Johannesburg: Take Witkoppen Road towards Fourways Mall At Fourways Mall, turn RIGHT/LEFT into Cedar Road Travel past Dainfern and turn LEFT at the T-junction (Lion Park/Muldersdrift) Continue for +- 5 kms (past the Lion Park on your LHS) and turn RIGHT at the robot (R512) Turn LEFT onto the N 14 towards KRUGERSDORP +- 12 kms - at the Sasol garage robot turn RIGHT (N14 VENTERSDORP) and continue for 10 kms At the Zenex garage T-junction turn RIGHT (N14 Ventersdorp/R563 Hekpoort) Keep STRAIGHT on the R563 TOWARDS HEKPOORT for 8.5kms Turn LEFT onto the R24 to Magaliesburg and continue for 12 kms. (Maropeng) At the T junction turn RIGHT onto the R24 to Magaliesburg for 6kms (past Corriloch Wedding Village and into Magaliesburg town) the Spar is on your left .From here to Lover’s Rock is 3.9 kms. Continue STRAIGHT (R 24 RUSTENBURG) past LOVER’S ROCK. You pass a SCHOOL past AQUADOR SUPERMARKET (on the LEFT) Carry on straight for about 8km and look out for the Thabametsi signage, Vlakfontein road on your LEFT. TURN LEFT onto - Yes - a dirt road - you are after all in the country. The sign states Jackson’s Ridge, Thabametsi and VLAKFONTEIN ROAD. This is what most people miss, so don’t join the statistics! ON THE RIGHT, OPPOSITE VLAKFONTEIN ROAD ARE SOME LONG WHITE CHICKEN HOUSES. The dirt road is only for 4,5 kms and is really not too bad. 2 kms down this country road you reach EAGLES PRIDE HATCHERY 2.5 KMS further you will go ROUND A CORNER THERE IS A ROAD SIGN - and there we are on the left, THABAMETSI, ZANDFONTEIN FARM, RV08 . Up the farm road and past the house, then up to the left - you have arrived!. WELCOME. From Pretoria Central: Take the N14 West towards Krugersdorp. Continue as above to get to the farm.
