Area Info:

The Natal Midlands is an area of gently rolling hills with green farmlands, lovely rivers and streams, and indigenous and commercial forests. The area has been a haven for rural and creative people since the early 1800s. In spring and summer, the hillsides are covered in carpets of green, dotted with abundant wildflowers.

During the crispy cold autumns, the leaves and grasslands turn burnt orange and yellow, and during winter, the air is frosty and sometimes there is even snow. You will also find some of the most spectacular waterfalls in the province, excellent fly-fishing, and an amazing variety of craft shops and home industries along the route known as the Midlands Meander.

A charming wooden Treehouse with iron cladding, it has a queen sized bed and the room includes a Spa Bath. Off the room, the patio deck has a glassed outdoor door shower. The lounge features a fireplace and take in Berg views from the upstairs deck

Just off our avenue of Sycamore Trees, our quaint English style country cottages share an enclosed garden, with patio and hammock chairs. This cottage has one room but sleeps 4, has a single bathroom with Spa-bath, and a lounge with a cozy fireplace.

Fantasy Treehouse

Three levels, it sleeps two adults and two children, with en-suite toilets on two levels. The main room has a glassed shower. On the bottom level is a sitting room with fireplace. An aerial walkway leads you to your separate, private Spa-Bath.

Faraway Treehouse

Our newest Treehouse, built on two levels into an ancient Sycamore tree with two balconies and a queen size bed. A fireplace in the bedroom for cold winter nights. Also wonderful mountain view from the Spa-Bath and shower in the bathroom.

Pegasus Treehouse

An equestrian theme with a large room, fireplace, queen size bed and comfortable armchairs. Also a deck overlooking the horse paddock and views of the Berg in the background. The en-suite bathroom has a private Spa-Bath & shower.

Planequarium Treehouse

A Treehouse for two couples and two children. The 6 Sleeper has 2 queen beds both (en-suite) and a bunk bed in the lounge. There is also a Spa-Bath and twin showers in the adjoining water tower , with an access via a wooden bridge.

This is our smallest, quirkiest Treehouse. Relax in the hammock on the platform, and catch the sunset views of the Berg. For the cooler times, there is a fireplace inside that supplies warmth and good cheer. Indulge yourself in a private Spa-bath.
