Somervreug Guesthouse is a modern, upmarket guesthouse situated in the hills of Paradise, an affluent suburb of Knysna, in the heart of South Africas Garden Route.
The tranquil inner courtyard offers a sparkling swimming pool. Guests are invited to enjoy our South African sunshine and sip cool drinks from comfortable loungers on any of our various sundecks. Toweling for this area is provided from the outside WC and shower. The outside fireplace sets a romantic ambiance for drinks after dinner.

These magnificent views can also be appreciated from the comfortable lounge or front deck, while being served from our bar. Somervreug is located 1,8 km form Knysna`s popular Waterfront, less than 3 km from Thesen Island Harbour Town and only 7 km from the magnificent Knysna Heads.
Three world renowned golf courses, including the Pezula Championship Golf Course and Simolas Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course are within close proximity. The beautiful swimming beaches of Brenton and Buffalo Bay, as well as various walking trails are within 10 to 20 km from the property.
Accommodation at Somervreug Guesthouse: Each en-suite room is individually appointed with all modern amenities. These include extra length king or twin beds, high speed WiFi and air-conditioning. Each room also boasts a 43-inch flat-screen smart television with DStv satellite channels, key operated safe, wardrobe and private balcony or patio.

All other bookings - Up to 30 days prior to arrival - 100% of deposit will be refunded. - 29 to 14 Days prior to arrival - 50% of deposit will be refunded. - 13 to 7 Days prior to arrival - 25% of deposit will be refunded. - 6 Days and less prior to arrival - no refund and full payment of reserved room/s.
