Six on Scott Guesthouse

Six on Scott Guesthouse is a beautiful heritage listed Victorian Guesthouse located in the Gardens district at the heart of cosmopolitan Cape Town.

The Guesthouse is a stone’s throw from several trendy restaurants and cafés, the Gardens mall, and Dunkley and Wembley Square.  Further afield you’ll find the Company’s Garden, Parliament, the National Museum, Long Street and the Cape Town City Centre.

The Gardens district is nestled beneath the watchful eye of Table Mountain, and only a short drive from Cape Town’s most famous beaches, mountains, and the legendary V&A Waterfront.  Six on Scott is the perfect place for your stay in the Mother City.

The house was lovingly renovated and altered into a guesthouse in 2010, but the high ceilings, Victorian castings, sash windows, and old pine floors, preserve the unique atmosphere of this heritage jewel that’s been standing for over a hundred years.  We’ve combined the old with modern décor and amenities to offer a harmonic blend of contemporary comfort and classic ambiance.

Six on Scott is run by passionate owners who provide service with a personal touch, creating that home away from home.

Accommodation at Six on Scott Guesthouse:
Six on Scott has five individually designed guestrooms in the categories: standard and superior.

While our standard rooms are located on the ground floor, closer to the entrance and breakfast area, you will find our superior rooms on the first floor.  The standard rooms have smaller bathrooms and a limited view.  The superior rooms have more spacious bathrooms, are mostly slightly bigger, bright and have better views.  The superior rooms are also quieter as they are located on the top floor.

All guestrooms can alternatively be booked as single rooms and one of the superior rooms can also be converted into a twin room with two separate beds.
