The Lodge compound is fully fenced against our lions, leopards and elephant friends so that you are totally safe when walking around the Lodge and between chalets.
This is a malaria-free reserve, where the Big 5 roam freely. It is home to an extraordinarily diverse group of plant and animal life. This includes over 300 species of birds. It is a Biosphere Reserve by the United Nations and encompasses some important historic and prehistoric sites. Shibula has access to the entire 36,000ha reserve that borders with Marakele National Park.
Each Family Chalet consists of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, and the second bedroom has 2 single beds. The chalet features a bathroom with a shower and bath, with access to a private outdoor shower. Each chalet opens onto a small private deck.
Each Luxury Chalet is furnished with a king-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom with a shower and bath, with access to a private outdoor shower. Each chalet opens onto a small private deck.
Cancellation of any booking must be received in writing:
- 30 days prior to arrival date – No cancellation fee
- 29 – 15 days prior to arrival date – 50% of the total cost
is forfeited
- 14 – 0 days prior to arrival date – 100% of the total cost
is forfeited
