Escape the Western world, and unwind at Seaview Cottage closely located to Umthata River Mouth, a mere five kilometers from the well-renowned Coffee Bay. Sea View Cottage comprises two bedrooms, a bathroom, a lounge, and a fully equipped kitchen. Both bedrooms are fitted with a queen-sized bed as well as twin beds. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, and a basin.
Enjoy self-catering in its simplest form, with a fully equipped kitchen, featuring a dining room table where it all comes together. The lounge leads out onto a verandah with braai facilities. Guests can enjoy activities such as river and rock angling, long walks, scenic hikes, tranquil cycling, bird watching or simply taking in the view of the beach just across the river.
Watch the whales heading south from the beginning of august until the end of November. 4x4 or SUV is recommended as roads are fairly rough. Minimum of 2 people is also recommended.

Coffee Bay is a town on the Wild Coast of the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. It is located about 250 kilometers south of the city of Durban and has a population of 258 people. The town is named after the hundreds of coffee trees that grew from beans either scattered by a shipwreck or by plunderers.
Attractions are numerous in the Coffee Bay / Hole in the Wall area of the Wild Coast and include fishing, hiking, swimming, surfing, cycling, horse riding, quad biking and cultural tours. There are also guided hikes to Port St John’s or Kob Inn.
