Enjoy the eco experience of this educational walkabout - highlighting the habits of the African Black Oystercatcher. This coastal hiking trail starts in a Khoi San cave at the old fishing village of Mossel Bay and ends with a small boat trip across the Gouritz River.

Our authentic Cape cottages and our unspoilt nature area cannot be fully appreciated in one night visits - we therefore suggest stays of 2 days or more.
Every cottage has a large indoor fireplace to braai South African style or just to sit around at night and drink a toast to this paradise of peace.
Interiors are Yellow wood and Oregon Pine furniture. Red clay tile floors and comfortable bedding. Free Wifi and Smart TV. two plate gas stove and rechargeable flashlights. Some cottages have a dishwasher and washing machine. ( Ask if you need this) The eco cottages are off the grid with solar energy, gas for cooking and hot water.

Boggomsbaai is 30 km’s from Mossel Bay. A quiet haven for beach and nature lovers. Fransmanshoek is nearby . Vleesbaai which is also nearby, has a small shop that is open only in business hours. The Oystercatcher Coastal Hiking Trail is a fabulous eco-adventure. Rated as one of the top slackpacking trails in the world. We can provide guides for you to take you on short walks with beach lunches.

The property consists of 1 double-storey main house with 3 en-suite bedrooms, TV with Wi-Fi, large indoor fireplace/braai, a pizza oven on the patio. The separate annex has 2 double bed bedrooms with bathroom and a 4 single bed loft, en suite.

This rustic solar-powered unit consists of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The cottage has a small camping fridge that is solar powered, free Wi-Fi, a fireplace/braai area, and access to a large boma area outside. There is an outdoor shower as well.

15km west of Mosselbaai, turn off at signboard Boggomsbaai/Vleesbaai. Follow road for 11km and turn left at Boggomsbaai signboard. Follow road for 3km and turn left into Strelitzia Str.
Continue to T-junction into Whale Str., turn right and first left after green/blue telephone booth. You will then see to your left the Sandpiper Sport Spa building where our reception area is situated.
