The discerning traveller will find self-catering accommodation at Rose Cottage set amongst the vineyards and mountains of Franschhoek. Each cottage contains a lounge, dining room, kitchen and bedroom.
There is a large patio area for outdoor living and a rim flow pool with views of the surrounding mountains and vineyards. A braai facility is available next to the dam.
The Cellar
This cottage consists of a lounge, dining room, kitchen and bedroom with a luxurious en-suite bathroom. A sleeper couch is available to accommodate children.
For those cold winter nights there is a cosy fireplace, television, and underfloor heating. On hot summer days you have easy access to the pool, where you can enjoy cocktails or sundowners with friends.
The Loft
Work your way up to the Loft area. This cottage consists of a lounge, dining area, kitchen & bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. A sleeper couch is available to accommodate children.
You can enjoy the comfort of underfloor heating while you watch television during those lazy, red wine evenings. There is easy access to the pool area on balmy summer days.
The Barn
The converted Barn is generously proportioned with a huge fireplace, cellar area & underfloor heating. The Barn consists of a lounge, open plan kitchen and bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The pool is a stone throw away from the lounge area.
A television is available for those classic movie evenings. Throw some logs on the fire, enjoy a glass of wine and delight in the ambience of the Barn.
The Cottage
The Cottage consists of two bedrooms. The first bedroom contains a double bed and the second bedroom, twin beds. Downstairs there is a comfortable lounge with a large fireplace, kitchen and dining area.
You can enjoy the comfort of underfloor heating and television in winter or dip in the pool on those lazy summer evenings.
The Stable
The converted stables makes for a uniquely picturesque stay. Set in the midst of the vineyards, with the breathtaking mountains providing for spectacular views from all the windows, the Stable consists of an open plan living area comprising, lounge, dining area and kitchen.
The two bedrooms, each en-suite, lead off the central living area. Each has French doors leading out onto the patio, with private pool, sundeck and recliners.
And at the end of a long day outdoors, curl up in front of the television for one of those classic movie evenings. So go ahead, throw some logs on the fire, put your feet up, enjoy a glass of locally produced wine and delight in the comfortable luxury of the Stable.
Drive through Franschhoek village along Hugenot Road. You'll come to a T-junction, where the Hugenot Monument is situated.
Turn right, and then take the second left into Verdun Road. The entrance to Rose Cottage is the second turning to the right along that (Verdun) road.
