* Bontebok National Park: Situated just 6 km outside of town along the Breede River, this park was originally established to save the rare bontebok antelope from extinction. It is a fantastic spot for a self-drive game viewing loop, bird watching, riverside picnics, and canoeing.
The Hermitage Valley and Berry Estates
* Swellendam is the largest youngberry-producing region in South Africa, utilising the pure mountain water of the Hermitage Valley.
* Wildebraam Berry Estate: A highly popular family-friendly stop. Depending on the season (typically November to December/January), you can go berry picking. Year-round, you can visit their cellar to sample and purchase locally produced artisan berry liqueurs, syrups, and jams.

* Sulina Fairy Sanctuary: A whimsical, tucked-away garden that appeals to children and the young at heart. The dense pathways are filled with thousands of intricate sculptures of fairies, gnomes, elves, and mythical creatures set amidst wishing wells and lush greenery.

2 Luxury off grid eco pods, each consisting of 2 separate bedrooms, both with their own full en-suite bathroom with shower and free standing bath. Both rooms lead onto a central lounge / dining area with an open plan kitchen. Kitchen includes all utensils, fridge / freezer, microwave, air fryer, bean to cup coffee machine, washing machine / tumble drier combo and dishwasher. Each unit leads out onto an expansive wooded deck with a covered dining area and bar counter with uninterrupted views of the Breede River and surrounding Renosterveld. Deck includes a built in braai, webber and suspended cargo net hammock. An outdoor shower below the deck is also included, as well as direct access to the Breede River for fishing, swimming, and kayaking in the kayaks provided.

If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total. If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit. If cancelling 60 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit. If cancelling 90 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.

* Please note that as you will be entering a protected conservation area which contains wild animal, river frontage as well as neighbouring farmlands, guests enter entirely at their own risk, and a standard indemnity will be forwarded prior to arrival
* Included in your rate is already wood packed for the braai, fireplace and hot tub, 1 bag charcoal for the Weber, 1 pack of fire lighters and 20L drinking water
* Note that you are entering a HIGHLY sensitive and protected area, with an EXTREME fire risk
* The units are NON-SMOKING, and smoking is strictly only outside of the units. Please ensure not to dispose of cigarette butts into the veld
* As you are entering a sensitive, threatened, and protected conservation area, we unfortunately are UNABLE TO PERMIT ANY PETS of any sort
* Please ensure no littering
* No loud music is permitted at all times, and no music or noise is permitted after 22h00
* No shooting is permitted, including pellet guns, paintball guns, air guns, etc.
* No day visitors are permitted
* Note that cell phone signal is limited in the unit and the reserve; however, Wi-Fi is available in the units
* Please return the kayaks to the designated storage point after use, and the life jackets and oars to be returned to the pod. Note that the river is tidal when beaching the kayak on the shore
* Feel free to bring your own mountain bikes, SUPs, fishing gear, or any other sporting equipment, however, motorised boats, quad bikes, motor bikes or the like are not permitted, due to the sensitivity of the area
* Please stay on the designated roads only, as driving on the neighbouring farm is private and strictly prohibited
* Please ensure all closed gates are closed again securely after passing through, as animals may otherwise exit if left open

After approximately 200 km on the N2, turn right onto the gravel road towards Malgas / Infanta, 4.5 km before Swellendam.
After 2 km, turn left towards Napkysmond.
Travel 23.7 km until you reach the stone wall entrance named The Renosterveld Project with a green gate on your left.
Follow the directional signage for 5 km through the farm roads down to the river.

At the intersection of the R60 and N2, turn right onto the N2 and travel towards Cape Town for 4.5 km.
Turn left onto the gravel road towards Malgas / Infanta.
After 2 km, turn left towards Napkysmond.
Travel 23.7 km until you reach the stone wall entrance named The Renosterveld Project with a green gate on your left.
Follow the directional signage for 5 km through the farm roads down to the river.
